Big Hugs and THANK YOU ALL for EVERYTHING!!!!

Happy Monday and great big hugs to every single one of you!!! Your cards, your emails, your thoughts and prayers, your phone calls, and your every single sentiment expressed has been so magnificent and so touching to me. Thank each and every one of you for everything!! I had the breast and lymph surgery on February 2 and just knew that I would jump right up and be my OLD self...lolol...that was not to be...I have been extremely lacking on my right side due to the lymph node removal but HEY!!!! don't we all have a few bumps in our roads???? I am finally able, with doctor's permission, to join this best community in the world again as of today!!!! woooooohooooooooo In a couple of weeks I have to begin chemotherapy and then radiation so I guess I better contact Diana and Roy and order some extra Scor-Tape so I can at least wear bows on my head....hahahahha...they say it works for EVERYTHING!!!! Gosh, I have so much to be thankful for...my bones are FREE...well, except I have an ankle that might get OLD-AGE arthritis (pffffffft)...and all of my other organs are FREE...so what's a little chemo and radiation in the grand scheme of things...My doctor told me that all I have to worry about is staying active (cough cough...is he NUTZ???) and drinking lots of water...and he tells me to hurry up and get better because he wants me to be his official interpreter on his mission trips to the Honduras...oh boy...I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my DT Sample Card for this week's Just Magnolia Challenge blog where the sponsor of a wonderful prize is Wild Orchid Crafts, one of my very favorite companies for flowers!!!! Our challenge this week is LOVE...so come on over and show us your love card using a Magnolia!! How easy is that??!!??

I used Bazzill for the base and all matting and the DP is from the Lilac Avenue Collection by Kaisercraft. This little darling Tilda is from the upcoming Wedding Collection which will be available soon at Magnolia-licious. AND she is colored with distress inks...my very first attempt so please be gentle!! lol The roses, asters, and slider buckle are all from Wild Orchid Crafts. To finish the front I only added a double heart dangle to the organza bowand pearls to soften the corners.

For the inside I used the same DPs and added another aster and a SMILE charm to the organza ribbon treatment. The charm was a gift from the lovely and talented Jeanette.

Since the flowers added so much dimension to the card, I decorated a matching presentation box:

Thank you all so much again for everything and for dropping by to see what's happening in my little corner of the world!! I love reading what you have to say about my projects and hope you will return often!! Big hugs to each of you!!

Hi Jacque,
Soooo good to see you back hun. I'm glad the news is looking good for you. I work in Oncology Clinical Trials so if ever you need to talk to someone (unofficially of course) you can email me at anytime (dawns191atlivedotcodotuk) and I'll do my best to help or find out whatever you need to know. Your chemo and radiotherapy will be a bit tough but your character and determination will see you through that. Stay strong hun and keep smiling - and remember, anytime you need an ear (or even a shoulder to cry on and you don't know why!) I'm just an email away.

Jacque, I am was thrilled to see you posted a card! Girl, we both know life can throw you some curve balls, remember to go with those curves Jacque. Prayer is a powerful thing, and just think prayers for you are being lifted up all over the world through your blogging friends. What an amazing thought!
I had to chuckle when I read about your fuzzy socks and flannel pjs on your previous post. Being a fan of fuzzy socks myself, I really do believe fuzzy sock have a healing power that makes what ever ills you better. LOL! I hope you are well supplied with your fuzzy socks Jacque.
Stay strong girl. Lifting you up in prayer,

Such a lovely card, Jacque! Sorry I missed this last week. My youngest son (26) went into the hospital last Monday & upon his release he stayed with us til yesterday. He had a bronchial infection & was having trouble breathing but is doing much better.
I'm so happy to hear that you're doing so well & have such an uplifting attitude. You are a marvelous example to all of us. Your strength & determination are to be admired.
More prayers going up for you, sweetie!
