A very happy Saturday to everyone! I hope your week was a marvelous one and that now you have begun a most enjoyable and fun weekend. The weather here for the past few days has been so magnificent but I am peeking out all the time to see what is in store the next moment. I really do dread cold and snow and ice....BUT we have to get through this in order to see the flowers again in the spring. It is always such a sad time to see all of the roses being chopped away into little sticks...eeeeek!!! How many minutes til Spring????
Welcome to the November Blog Hop at
Really Reasonable Ribbon! If you have arrived here from the
Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings site then you are at the right place and on the right track. If you have arrived here first, please start the hop at the
RRR Ramblings so that you will know what terrific prizes await you this month. We were asked to use ribbons from the
November Ribbon Club Assortment and they are so beautiful---you can see them in my SWEET STUFF below!!!! I wanted to use all of them BUT my brain just could not figure out how to be that creative....smile... You will find that several of the ribbons each month are unique to club members and are not available in the shop---one of the great benefits of being a member of the Ribbon Club!! Also, I would like to remind you that the current challenge at
RRR Ramblings is asking that you use blue/silver/white....the same colors in this month's Ribbon Club Assortment!
For my DT Sample Card, I used Bazzill for the base and all matting. The DP is Winter Wonderland by Dovecraft and all background panels are machine stitched. I used the little Magnolia Snowman with Star from
Magnolia-licious who looks as though he is out of stock at the moment but there are several other snowmen that are just as cute available! The image was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics, adding a touch of Silver Spica, Liquid Applique on the hat and lantern, Silver MS glitter for the star, and Diamond Dust for the snow. For the horizontal I used a base of
1 1/2" Light Blue Grosgrain and topped it with with
5/8" Shimmer Satin Silver, and a lovely Silver Grey with Snowflake. I used one tiny star from Stars in Line Silver for some dimension on the star in Snowie's hand. Finally I added snowflake ornaments from Michaels and centered them with blue rhinestones. I also added the same gems to soften the corner and added a dangling silver snowflake charm from the flat bow made with a
Bow-Easy Tool. I am often asked about my bows and I can share with you that I CANNOT make a bow without this tool...it is amazing for sure!!!

The simple inside of my card is using just more of the same from the front.
SWEET STUFF!!!!! And since this is BLOG HOP time, it must also be a touch of SWEET STUFF time!!! I hope you enjoy my offering this time!
