Pretty In Pink Blog Hop and PINK SWEET STUFF!!!

Happy Monday and WELCOME to the Magnolia-licious Pretty In Pink Blog Hop!! I am so happy to see you!!! If you arrived here first, please start at the Magnolia-licious Highlites site to begin your merry, pink way along the hopping trail!! If you have arrived here from the marvelously talented Becca, you are on the right track!! So welcome again!!

For my card I used an absolutely darling Tilda that has not been released yet but I think she must be in the upcoming Wedding Collection which you will see very soon at Magnolia-licious...I just couldn't resist giving you a wee peek of a cutie who will be on her way soon!! I used Bazzill for the base, PTI for all matting, and the DP is a combination of MM and digitals. All panels are machine stitched and Tilda is colored with Copics and I added tiny seed pearls on her shoes.

The lace I have used on the front was hand-crocheted by my grandmother in the 1940's and I know she would be happy to see me using lace that I saved from one of her table cloths. I wove narrow pink satin ribbon through the lace before adding all of the tiny bows. I also used a pink paper lace doily and a small bouquet of pink roses as well as a ribbon treatment with heart charm for little Tilda to sit on. The front was finished with half pearls on the corners.

On the inside of the card I used more pink paper lace doilies, more satin bows, and a couple of rose charms.

To match the card I decorated a clear paint can with bits of lace, more roses, and ribbons and bows and another Tilda. I also made a couple of small gift bags adding a bit of Stickles for sparkle and a bit of lace and ribbon.

So here is a bit of SWEET STUFF for some lucky winner who leaves a comment below before Monday, January 25, at Noon EST. I would appreciate it greatly if you would mention my Sweet Stuff on your blog if you have one and also tell all of your friends about the Pretty In Pink Blog Hop!! I have filled the gift bags and paint can with pink embellishment surprises, and then there is a box of Strawberry Truffles, a set of Pink Valentine Socks, a small Pink Notebook, a Pink Mini-Organizer, a Pink Canister of Yum-Dilly S'Mores, and last (but not least) a Pink Marshmallow Lollipop!!!

Thank you so much for participating in our Magnolia-licious Pretty in Pink Blog Hop and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed preparing for your visit! Again you will find all of the instructions for the Hop over on the Magnolia-licious Highlites site! I hope you will join with us and show us your Pretty In Pink Card before January 31!!! The next stop on your way will be with the extremely talented Cheryl at her Cottage Creations site. Big Maggie Hugs and HAVE FUN!!!!!

Oh Jacque, I am in awe, not only of your gorgeous card, but of your very generous "Sweet Stuff" blog candy. No wonder you were so excited. I am such a girly, girl. This card is wonderful, in all its glorious "pinkness", with doilies, and ribbon and charms, and even hand-made lace. While this far exceeds my youthful attempts, it does take me back to the Valentine cards I used to make for my Mom and Dad, and my grandparents so long ago. Do children even do that today? Thank you for sharing your card, a little of your grandmother, and your generous "Sweet Stuff". FABULOUS!

I'm working on a pink card right now, but wanted to join your candy first. I've spread the word on my candypost. Thanks for the chance, your candy is fab.

OMG!
I hope I am not too late for your candy drawing (time zone?) but if I am, I am still sooo glad I found your blog! I am usually the one who gives candy but desided to go on a hunt for fun today. I love the pink card that you have posted above! The coloring and all of the extra detail like the lace and ribbon...AWESOME! The set is beautiful too. I looked around a bit and you are one great card artisit! I will be back for inspiration!
I have become a follower and have your candy on blog.
Hope you will come check out my blog candy too!
Hugs,
True :D
