Tea for Two and Tilda Makes SIX!!

Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope that your weekend is going very well and that you have had a fun and productive weekend! My 80+ year old dad has been hospitalized this weekend with some serious complications so this will be short but I did want you to see it and hopefully let me know what you think of it!!

I wanted to share this little Tea for Two and Tilda makes Six (since I used 6 different little Tilda images and 3 accessory stamps)set with you which I made for a challenge and before it is on its way to its rightful owner. I used some MS Gingerbread papers and dressed all of the little boys up with green bows around their necks!! All coloring is Copics with touches of Spica and Diamond Stickles. All of the Maggies are from Magnolia-licious and if I have given you a link, they are either in stock or are on their way!!!

For the card, I used clay gingerbread boys beside little Tilda with Candy Cane as well as red/white dotted buttons tied with twine and some candy cane brads. MS punched borders were added to the ribbon treatment.

This is the top of the tea chest and I have used Tilda With Heart Ornament flanked by the Christmas Trees decorated with red rhinestones. Tilda is sitting on the edge of a photo mat which is decorated with little wooden gingerbread boys. I trimmed the top with white braid and larger red/white dotted buttons in the corners tied with twine.

I used a Maggie Heart Ornament on the inside of the tea chest.

The gift bags are just plain brown bags that I decorated with the same MS papers and bows. The first cookie mix bag has Kitchen Tilda and I have tied a wooden mixing spoon to the top with ribbon. The next Gingerbread mix bag has Tilda with Gingerbread Heart on a tag which also has gingerbread boy brads. I completed this bag with a small red spatula tied on the top with ribbon. The canister of honey sticks for the tea has Tilda With Bee made into a tag.

And finally shown with the card again, is a little decorated mailbox filled with truffles...this is Tilda with Yule Cap and the Magnolia Merry Christmas Post.

Thank you so much for dropping by and I hope you have enjoyed seeing this set and will take the time to let me know what you think!!! This one was alot of fun to make!! I hope you have a delightful week and will come back and see me often!! I should have a surprise for you very soon...maybe this week!! Maggie hugs to all!!!!

Tilda with Candy Cane for Christmas in July

Happy Monday and Welcome to Magnolia-licious Christmas in July Challenge!! I hope you have had a marvelous weekend and are ready to start a fantastic week and will join us in this fun challenge over on Magnolia-licious Highlites.

For my card I used Bazzill CS for the base, Prismatics Herbal Garden Light and SU Real Red CS for the matting, and Daisy D's Snowflakes and Holly DP. I stitched the first layer on the front, then made a square of Cryogen white, edging it with MS Corner Loop and Wing Edger Loop punches, and propping it up on dimensional tape. I then added a square of coordinating DP. I stamped Tilda with Candy Cane from the Christmas Collection 2008 twice and colored her with Copics and a touch of Spica on the bow and Diamond Stickles on the wings. This little girl (along with many from the Christmas and holiday collections) is now available over at Magnolia-licious. I also propped Tilda up. I added 3 layer poinsettias and holly by Prima and made the centers from MM Vintage Findings pearl flowers. I also added a polymer clay candy cane which I colored with Copics to match the one Tilda is holding. Finally I added larger pearls to the remaining 2 corners.

I used the same DPs on the inside of the card. On the first panel I used a simple olive organza ribbon and a mini Tilda with Candy Cane colored with copics. And on the jotting panel I used another punched square for the message and trimmed it with another triple poinsettia. Finally all corners were softened with small pearls.

Thank you so much for your visit. We always love to see you drop by and hope that you will leave us your thoughts. Remember it is not too early to start thinking about your Christmas cards and how cute those Maggies can be for the holidays! You may also want to drop over and see what Diana has in stock and start thinking about which Maggies you may want for the winter holidays. Have a wonderful week and come back soon!! Hugs...
