Happy Friday, everyone!!! I hope you have had a most enjoyable week and are ready for a magnificent weekend!!!! It looks as though the rains are over here and it's outside and play, play, play and plant, plant, plant for me!!!! Gosh, that's what I have been awaiting for months!!! But I can tell you that the roses are starting to peek some color out so it won't be long until they are blooming...which will make Jacque a happy girl!!!!
This week at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we are being hosted by Deb who has given us the theme of Pastel/Spring Colors...and that was so much fun and right up my alley!!!! Those are my very favorite colors for sure....There is also a very nice prize to be given to some lucky participant so come on over and join in with us to see if this is your lucky week!!!
I made a Criss-cross card using Bazzill for the base and matting and the DP is from the Pink Paislee London Market Paper Stack...and I think these papers are so lovely!!! I used a sweet little hÄnglar & stÄnglar image which was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Flexmarkers and cut out with Petite Oval and Petite Scalloped Oval Nesties. The image was stamped 3 times and you can probably tell that the head and flower tray were cut out separately and propped up for added dimension. I edged each side of the criss-cross with white flat lace. I used some Recollection Pearl Trim for each side and the bows are made from WOC Satin Ribbon with a 5/8" Open Rose, and 1/4" Closed Rosebuds.
