Unwrapped Tilda at Friday Sketchers #120

Gosh, happy Friday everyone!!! I hope your week has been as exciting as mine!!! I finished all of the radiation sessions on Tuesday and I swear I have more energy and feel so much a part of life than I ever did!!!! So watch out, WORLD!!!! I hope you have a marvelous weekend, because I certainly intend to!!!! wooooohooooo

Today at Friday Sketchers #120 we are being hosted by the wonderfully talented and creative Janneke from the Netherlands who has designed for us such a wonderfully fun and exciting sketch. Thank you so much, Janneke, for all the fun!!! Love that sketch!!! We hope you will come over to Friday Sketchers and show us your wonderful interpretations of Janneke's sketch which will put you in the running for a lovely prize from Lauretta's Digital Stamps.

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base, all matting is PTI, and the DP is from the Be Merry Collection by Kaisercraft. All panels were machine stitched. I used Unwrapped Tilda from Magnolia-licious which is now available and is such a darling.. Gosh with a change of colorways, she can be used for any festive holiday...birthday...shower...etc. She was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics, using a tiny bit of Green Stickles on the holiday package wrapping. For the horizontal I used a wide grosgrain stitched ribbon from my stash. For the flat bow made with a Bow Easy Tool I used matching Red w/ Stitched White Grosgrain from the marvelous Really Reasonable Ribbon shop where you will find not only the very best selection of ribbon, etc on the planet, but also the very best customer service from Bonnie. The flat bow presents a silver stocking charm dangled from a bit of Baker's Twine Cherry from RRR also. you will note that Tilda's package is also tied with Baker's Twine Cherry...smile!! To complete the front I added 3 stocking buttons to the top right and 3 lovely poinsettias resting on holly leaves to the bottom right.

For the first panel on the inside I used another horizontal of red stitched grosgrain topped with a Maya Roads Kraft envelope which can be used for a special note, gift certificate, or gift card trimmed with the narrower red stitched grosbrain and a date die-cut by Maya Roads. For the second panel, I merely used another flat bow of the narrow stitched red grosgrain, a single poinsettia, and a couple of reindeer buttons to reflect the DP.

I hope you like my little creation and will be able to join us at Friday Sketchers this week. We would love to see your card using Janneke's sketch!! Please visit each of the Sassy Sketcher Girls' blogs and let them know what you think of their magnificent creations!!!
Aud, Bea, Carole, Claudia, Inge, Janneke, Jeanette, Tanja

Yet another adorable card/gift package, is there no end to your talents, can't wait to see what you do next. Now so good that you are feeling great but not to be a party pooper or anything but don't you go over doing the grasping life and jumping in with both feet you don't want to over do it and knock yourself back. Take care and have some steady fun.
