Happy Fourth of July!!

A very happy day to everyone and to my US friends, best wishes for a wonderful Fourth of July holiday! It is still so very hot and humid here but my thoughts go out to those who are suffering the devastation of the Western fires and those in the mid-Atlantic areas who are having such horrific storms along with the heat. I shall not complain about our heat because I can always stay inside in the A/C. I hope that wherever you may be that you are enjoying the day!

I am very late with my Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge card this week as I have been cameraless...lol Our fun challenge this week is being hosted by my very sweet and talented friend Suzan who has asked us to use a banner on our cards. For my easel card I made the banner from Divine Baker's Twine and flag toothpicks. The base of the card and all double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the Wee R Memory Keepers Yankee Doodles paper pad. The darling image, colored with Copics, is the new Liberty Tilda which is available over at Magnolia-licious. The Happy 4th of July medallion, anchored with an Electric Blue Satin Ribbon bow and touched with Prisma Glitter, is also from We R Memory Keepers. The entire floral arrangement resting on MS punched branches is from Wild Orchid Crafts: 1" Open Rose, Cherry Blossom, Sweetheart Blossoms, and Closed Rosebuds. I also added several star shaped pins to the flowers.



I used a coordinating paper on the base of the easel and used two colors and types of ribbon and some gold stars for the stop. Thanks to Suzan for all of the paper and embellies I used on my card...Hugs, Sweetie!!
