Happy Thursday everyone!! I hope you are having a wonderful week and oh my goodness, this week is disappearing quickly! I don't know if that's good or bad BUT not very much we can do about it!! haha
This is a just because I wanted to make a card day!!! Oh what fun!!! The stamps in the latest release over at LOTV are perfect for all the men in your life! They're great for every occasion including Father's Day so you won't be stuck for inspiration anymore when faced with those oh so difficult cards to make for boys!!
For my card I used Bazzill for the base and PTI for all double matting. The DP is from the BG Life of the Party Paper Pad and all background panels are machine stitched. I used the darling little Dad's The Word stamped on XPress It Blending Card and colored with Copics. Is he not the cutest little bear you have ever seen?!?!? For the left vertical I used some red star buttons threaded and tied with red/white baker's twine. And for the right vertical I used a corrugated kraft strip topped with stitched red grosgrain ribbon for a belt effect with the little nickel buckle. I also replicated the tools from the image with a several buttons.
The inside is more DP from the same paper pad. On the first panel I used a kraft envelope with blue star buttons and more baker's twine which will hold a gift card to one of those home improvement stores...cute huh? And on the second panel I used two verticals of the red stitched ribbon and added the Happy Father's Day sentiment from the Set 8 - Happy Circular Sentiments from LOTV for the jotting spot.

I saw this adorable card and immediately looked to see if the Teddy Bear was holding a little boy doll! LOL The opposite of the little boy carrying the Teddy Bear images you have shared on cards lately! LOL
I think this is precious. I love your envelope idea on the front. I could even have my grand-son (the youngest) write "Dad" on it...so that it would be in "child font" when I give it to him! The cover is wonderful. I love the colors, the tool belt with the tools, and the starts on the left! I love your coloring, Jacque! You are so amazing yourself!
