Pink and Green Delight!!!!

A very happy Monday to everyone!!! I hope you have all had a magnificent weekend and are well prepared for an even better week! I am a happy camper because we only had some blowing snowflakes and NO SNOW!!!! Wooooohooooo!!! See how little it takes to make me happy!!!!

Although I have been designing for Whimsy Stamps for well over a year, I have been invited to make my first posting on the Whimsy Inspiration Blog today. There are so many quintessentially talented members of the Whimsy design family that I am indeed humbled that I have been invited to participate in this way. For this event I have made a card and matching gift bag using one of the Whimsy Prints from the NEW Love and Friends which were designed by the magnificent Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps and colored by Senior Designer Simonne Clay. Admittedly, I share with you, that to match the DP I selected, I had to color some of the flowers using a pink Copic! The base is Bazzill, the double matting is from PTI, and the DP is from the Carta Bella True Friends paper pad.

 

On the front of the card, to outline the vertical striped panel, I used some Lovely Tape with some Flat-Backed White Pearl Trim. For the horizontal I used some green ruffled ribbon and some pink dotted ribbon which was tied into a double flat bow to anchor a silver friends charm. The darling image is resting on a beautiful doily diecut (6003/1003) designed by Jolanda Bergmans of Noor! Design. The leaves are also one of Jolanda's diecuts (6003/0001) and are the base for Trellis Rose, Cottage Roses, and Closed Rosebuds. To finish the front I also used Self-Adhesive Pearls to soften the corners.

 

I also used a double row of Lovely tape around the top of the fabric gift bag topped with more Flat-Backed Pearl Trim . The sentiment on the back of the bag is from the NEW Everyday Sliders 1 Set cut out with the NEW Slider 1 Die which were designed by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps. The customized Label Stamp 5 on the back of the card is also available at Whimsy Stamps.

Jacque's Sunday SWEET STUFF!!!!!

A very happy Sunday to everyone! As we all know, some good things must come to an end but at the very same time something else, perhaps more exciting and fun will begin!!! I will no longer be offering Sunday Sensations on my blog BUT I will be having a Jacque's Sunday SWEET STUFF each week, including a few of my favorite things. And I can only hope they may be some of your favorite things also!!! The schedule will be the same as before...The SWEET STUFF will post at midnight each Saturday night ET and will run until midnight on Tuesday, with the week's winner being named on Wednesday.

This event each weekend will be sponsored by me personally and I will not be representing any company in this endeavor. I have puchased everything that I will offer to you! It is just something that I would like to do for my FOLLOWERS as long as I possibly can and for as long as you are interested. I am requesting that you remove the Sunday Sensations logo from your sidebar and replace it with the Jacque's Sunday SWEET STUFF emblem above.

Each week I will attempt to have a nice selection for you including one stamp (Whimsy, Magnolia, WoJ, Belles & Whistles, etc), a selection of ribbons, and a selection of flowers (as long as they last...haha). From time to time I may also include some other embellishments or surprises. Those of you who have won prizes from me before know that I always include some surprises!! And as you all know, I will ship world-wide and each package will be shipped first class to the winner who will be selected by Mr Random.org.
