A warm hello and a very happy Tuesday to each of you!! I hope you had a magnificent weekend and are moving right along into a great week! My bathroom renovation is moving right along and I am hoping by the end of the month that I am all settled into my new quarters..but then of course it will be something else after that...It never ends!!! And for those of you who have asked, my knee is as good as new and I am ready to ride the Creeper again.....smiles!!!
I am very happy to be able to participate in the
Magnolia-licious Challenge this time and would love to invite all of you Maggie lovers to come on over and join in with us for this two weeks challenge!! Here is the color inspiration picture to get your creativity flowing:

The pink and green wallpaper is what inspired me for colors and for some strange reason the setting reminded me of coming into the living room as a young child to show my report card!! Thus my card.....laughing!! But whatever you see and however this picture inspires you is fine and dandy!!!! So come on over and show us your interpretation of the challenge!!! It can't be any stranger than MY interpretation!!!! LOL We can't wait to see your lovely submissions...and there is always a marvelous prize from Diana at
Magnolia-licious!!
For my card I used the cute little
Autumn Tilda With Pencils from the
Turning Leaves Collection at
Magnolia-licious--isn't she a little darling?!?! She was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Flexmarkers, adding Prisma Glitter to her dress. The base of the card is Bazzill, the double matting is PTI, and the DP is from the BBP Vintage Marketplace pack---and I just love the papers from this collection!!!! For the horizontal I used some
Natural Cotton Lace topped with stitched pink ribbon tied into a double flat bow to dangle a 'report card' charm from The Charm Barn. I also used a Jenny Bowlin Mini Bingo Card (thanks so much,
Suzan) to which I added a small
Pearl Heart Shaped Bead. Every time in the past when I wanted to use one of these cute bingo cards, they were LOST in my stash...but miraculously they appeared for this card. Of course they are probably lost in the jungle again...do you ever have this problem???? hahaha To the natural cotton doily I added a circle of
3/8" Open Roses and pearls and added a tiny envelope with tag and a vintage looking pink rose brad. Finally the card was finished with pearls to soften the remaining corners.

On the inside I used DP from the same collection--as a matter of fact on the jotting panel you can actually see the sweet paper that I also used on the front!! ha!!! I just added some bits of the same ribbon, several jeweled flowers, and a larger envelope with tag for a note and maybe a gift card for the little girl who has a GREAT report card!!!!
