Hearts Galore at Just Magnolia & hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge...WINNER...SWEET STUFF!!!

Good morning everyone and a very happy Saturday to YOU!! I hope you are starting a marvelous weekend! Thanks for all of the NON-snow wishes BUT a major snow storm is on its way tomorrow....arghhhhh!!!

This week at Just Magnolia & hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge it's ANYTHING GOES with the option of buttons. We would love for you to come over and join with us where there is a very nice prize from Simon Says Stamp!

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base, PTI for all matting, and the DP is all from the Crush Collection by BoBunny. All major panels are machine stitched. I used a darling hÄnglar & stÄnglar image which was a special gift from the magnificently talented Gunilla, colored her with Copics, cut her out with double Nesties, and added a sparkly chipboard heart. The horizontal was given dimension and texture by gathered eyelet lace. I also used a sheer sparkly pink ribbon tied into a flat bow atop chipboard flourishes painted with Picket Fence Crackle Paint to match the MF shabby cornerpiece. I made two buttons with sparkly chipboard hearts, adding tiny white satin ribbon knots to them.

The inside of my card is more of the same with the addition of white trim cut with a My Favorite Things Die-namic.

Happy Friday Everyone!!! I hope you have all had a marvelous week and are looking forward to a fun and exciting weekend. SNOW is predicted here so I am not in the best frame of mine!!! lolol...I have seen enough white stuff for this lifetime!!

For my DT Sample Card, I used Bazzill for the base, PTI for all matting, and the DP is from the Crazy Love Collection by Bo Bunny which was a gift from Claudia's two darling little boys. Thank you so much, Lucas and Niklas....kisses and hugs!!!All major panels are machine stitched. I used one of the soon-to-be-available Lili of the Valley darlings. They are launching 4 new Fairy Stamps by Annabel Spenceley on 11th January 2011, along with 8 Molly Harrison Stamps, 2 new wedding images and 5 Love and Romance ones, in time for your Valentine's Day Cards! Oh my goodness...be there early!!!!

The image was stamped onto Cryogen White and colored with Copics and cut out with double Nesties. For the horizontal I used a wide ecru cotton lace and red satin ribbon with a flat bow to hold a dangle heart charm. The sentiment is one which will be included with with the Love is in the Little Things image. What a deal!!!! To replicate the image, I made a bouquet with 5 MM Closed Rosebuds from Wild Orchid Crafts tied with a tiny satin ribbon.

The inside of the card is more of the same but I used 4 MM Closed Rosebuds.

Followers' SWEET STUFF, Friday Sketchers #135 and WINNER!!!

Happy Friday and almost Happy New Year to each of you!! I hope that you have all had a marvelous holiday and are looking forward to an even better New Year. Yesterday was my first day out of the house since before Christmas because of that wonderful WHITE STUFF!!! ARGH!!!!!!! I won't tell you what I think about snow at this point!!! SMILES

This week at Friday Sketchers #135 we are being hosted by Inge of the Netherlands who has provided us with a very challenging sketch for me. Since I usually double mat and stitch my panels I ended up with 15 layers of papers when I count the base!!! But thanks so much, Inge, for the fun!!! I hope you will decide to join with us this week where there is a very nice prize provided by 7 Kids College Fund.

For my card I used Bazzill for the base, PTI and Bazzill for the matting, and all of the DP is a Mina Vanner Rosa-Marina 3 Creation of Maja Designs which was a gift from the most talented Gunilla of Sweden along with the hÄnglar & stÄnglar image that I used! Thank you so much, Gunilla! I love it ALL!!!! Most of the panels were machine stitched. The solid mauve panel was crimped. The image was colored with Copics, Star Dust Stickles outline the wings, and the shabby white cornerpieces are by Melissa Frances. The Cherry Blossom Stems, Heart-Shaped Pins, and Guipure Cream Lace are all available at Wild Orchid Crafts. Due to time constraints I didn't finish the inside this time because I wanted to get a surprise ready for my FOLLOWERS instead.
