Jolly Roger Tilda at Friday Sketchers 100

Happy Friday to everyone!! I hope you have had a magnificent week and are ready for a fun-filled weekend! I am going to try to pack as much as I possibly can into this weekend for sure!!

Today at Friday Sketchers we are being hosted by the unbelievably talented and creative Claudia who has designed a fun and challenging sketch for us. I hope that you will drop by and check out all of the DT Sample cards, and will join with us this week so we can see your interpretation of Claudia's great sketch!! A very nice prize is being offered by Sew Many Cards this week!! So come on over!!!

For my sample card I used Bazzill for the base, the matting is all PTI, and the DP is all digital. I machine stitched the panels and used a MS border punch for the middle panel. Little Jolly Roger Tilda from Magnolia-licious was stamped on Cryogen White and cut out with nesties. She was colored with Copics and I added Ultra Fine Flower Soft for the sandy beach, placing a treasure chest in the sand. I also added a treasure map button to her hand. For the scrappers floss treatment I also added 2 gold doubloons and finally a pirate's ship button in the upper corner!

Spring Time Hannah at The Pixie Cottage and SWEET STUFF!!!

Happy Wednesday everyone!! I hope your week is going very well and that Springtime has finally arrived for all of you!! I am certainly enjoying this week and am feeling wonderfully well. No sooner do I feel GREAT than I realize why...lol...Pre-Chemo is tomorrow and the next batch of chemo is this coming Monday!! But this time I am gonna be much bigger and meaner than the dragon, I have decided!!

I have to tell you that I was so excited and humbled when the very creative and talented Katie Tate, the Lead DT over at The Pixie Cottage invited me to not only design a sketch for this week's challenge, but also to create a card using my sketch! Thank you so much, Katie, for this honor and privilege!! I hope that everyone enjoys my creation and will visit The Pixie Cottage challenge this week and see the beautiful creations by the regular DT over there and also hope you will participate along with us!! We would love to see your creations using my sketch!!

For my card I used Bazzill for the base, all matting is PTI, and the lovely DP by Best Creation was a gift from the very talented Suzan. Thank you so much, Sweetie!! The background panel was machine stitched and the next panel was encircled with a MS punch. The absolutely darling Spring Time Hannah With Butterflies was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics. The flowers were colored with Smooch, and Diamond Stickles were used on the butterflies and flower centers. I used dotted grosgrain ribbon and some lovely fuschia trim for the horizontal, adding a flat bow and butterfly charm. I also added several gold flowers and fuschia roses onto MS punched branches as well as organza/jewel butterflies. The card was finished with gold pearls to soften the corners.

Princess Tilda at Just Magnolia and Winner!!

Happy Saturday everyone and thank you so much for dropping by! I hope that you had a delightful week and are into a magnificent weekend!! I know that I am looking forward to a beautiful one and hope I can get alot of things underway here!!

Last week's first birthday bash at Just Magnolia was such a wonderful success and I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!! My sincere thanks to everyone who participated in the blog hop. After all the excitement last week we are going nice and easy this week - so the theme for the challenge is Anything Goes. We are being sponsored by Wild Orchid Crafts this week and the prize is full of floral beauty for sure!! So come on over and check out the splendid cards made by my fellow DT members and hopefully you will decide to join with us.

I wanted to really showcase the most gorgeous flowers available in all of Cyberia so what better way than to say that these flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts are certainly befitting of a Princess!! For my DT Sample Card this week I used Bazzill for the base, all matting is PTI, and the DP is from Papermania's Rose Garden. I also used that darling little Princess Tilda from Magnolia-licious. She was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics, using a bit of Diamond Stickles for sparkle. I also added Glossy Accents to her patent leather shoes and rhinestones for the buttons on her shoes. I used grosgrain ribbon and lace for the horizontal before making a vertical flower treatment with several kinds of roses in pink and blue, heart and sparkle pins, and finally a crystal butterfly. Pink pearls were added to soften all corners.

Belles 'n Whistles at Friday Sketchers

A very happy Friday to everyone and best wishes for a marvelous weekend!! I know that I intend to enjoy the beautiful weather as I begin to think about digging in the dirt with flowers on my mind!!

Today at Friday Sketchers 99 we are being hosted by the superbly talented and creative Carole of England who has a wonderful sketch for us. I would love for you to come over and join us this week where you will find that there is a very nice prize from Simon Says Stamp!!

For my DT Sample Card I used the darling Belle Dusting Cuckoo from the Belles "n Whistles Spring and Cleaning Collection. Belle was stamped on Cryogen white and colored with Copics. The base of the card is Bazzill, the matting is PTI and unknown, and the DP is all from the Paisley Parade Collection of KI Memories...all panels are machine stitched. I added a feather for her feather duster and used all Magnolia flowers. Finally I added pearls to all corners of the panels and a wee little clock to the upper floral treatment.
