Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge and SWEET STUFF for YOU!!!

Happy Saturday to everyone and I am hoping that you are already into a marvelous weekend! Gosh it is wonderful to know there is a world out there after this week of way too much snow and ice!

Today is the Challenge over at Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings blog and I hope you will visit to see all of the magnificent projects/cards from the RRR DT. This time our theme is HEARTS and we are being sponsored by the splendid Creative Charms company. I hope you will come over and join with us for a very nice prize!!

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base, all matting is PTI, and the DP is from Eline's Huis Roses Are Red Paper Bloc produced by Marianne Design of the Netherlands. All major panels are machine stitched. All hearts are cut using a My Favorite Things die. For the horizontal I used a brand new lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon--Charlotte Natural Crochet Lace and a punched MS heart trim. The cute, cute image by Lili of the Valley, Teddy Romeo, was stamped on Cryogen White, Colored with Copics, and cut out with Nesties. To give the little bear a fuzzy texture, I used a few drops of Copics Blender solution on a terrycloth piece of fabric and dabbed the fur on the image....don't you think it looks a little furry??? smiles!! The little envelope with tag at the bottom right corner is by Melissa Frances and the Vintage Red Velvet Poppy Flowers with pearl centers are one of the lovely embellishments by Creative Charms!

The inside is quite simple, using another poppy and a larger MF envelope and tag for the jotting spot and more lace and heart treatment for the first panel.

I hope you like my little creation and will decide to show us your HEARTS over at the RRR Challenge! You will just love the surprise that is awaiting some lucky winner!!!

Tilda in the Garden at Friday Sketchers #137!!

Hello, everyone and a very happy Friday evening to you!! I hope you had a great week and are looking forward to a marvelous weekend! Today was my first day OUT!!! Yipppppeeeee...I went to see my Mom who is in a Life Care Center and enjoyed those hugs!! Gosh, it was great just seeing anyone!!! If I ever see one more snowflake it will be way too many!!

This week at Friday Sketchers #137 we are being hosted by Janneke of the Netherlands who has provided a very fun sketch for us to use. I hope you will pop over and join with us so we can see your interpretation of the sketch. A very nice prize is being given by our week's sponsor, Tickled Pink Stamps.

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base and all matting and the DP is a special gift to me from the very talented and sweet Gunilla of Sweden. It is Mina Vänner Paula 5,7,8 by Maja Design. I just love these papers!!! All major panels were machine stitched. For the horizontal I used 7/8" Old Willow Organza with a double flat bow. The little darling Tilda in the Garden from the new You Are So Special Collection which are right now on pre-order at Magnolia-licious was stamped on Cryogen White, colored with Copics and a touch of Stickles for the trim and flowers and Spica Gold for the shoe buckles, and cut out with Nesties....Have you noticed how many times little Tilda gets her shoes on the wrong feet....tooooo cute!!!! The floral treatment is from Wild Orchid Crafts using Cherry Blossom Stem Flowers. To finish the front I added a copper Special Day tag, a Melissa Frances ornament, and parts of a pearl flourish.

Edited to ADD: Oh my goodness, I had 2 emails already asking me about the lace which I forgot to mention...sigh...Sorry!!! That is hand-crocheted lace made by my grandmother about 50-60 years ago and was on an old tablecloth which was no longer useable...so no better place to use it than on one of my cards!!! Right??? Thanks to those who asked me!!!!

The inside is very simple with the addition of complete pearl flourishes on each panel and knotted organza ribbon...

I hope you decide to join us over at Friday Sketchers this week! Please visit each of the Sassy Sketcher Girls' blogs and let them know what you think of their magnificent creations!!!
Bea, Bev Inge, Janneke, Jeanette, Tanja

Thank you so very much for coming by to see what's happening in my world and I hope you will come back often. I am making every attempt to visit each of you also...and what a pleasure that has been!!!! Tomorrow I have the RRR Challenge where I will be using another LOTV stamp and I am so excited to show it to you in the morning. There may be a wee surprise for you as well... Also on Sunday don't forget the SUNDAY SENSATIONS from Magnolia-licious where there will be yet another delightful surprise for you--Just click on the icon on my side bar!!! Let It Snow at Just Magnolia & hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge and WINNERS!!

Happy Friday everyone!! I hope you have had a marvelous week! This has been a cabin fever week for me with all of the snow and ice BUT I think tomorrow I may go out into the world if I can remember how to act!! lol But timing was wonderful because this has been a busy cardmaking week for me. Today I am posting my Just Magnolia & hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge card and tomorrow I will have my Friday Sketchers and Really Reasonable Ribbons Challenge cards.

This week at Just Magnolia & hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge it's MY FAVORITE THINGS which was very easy for me because I LOVE it ALL!! We would love for you to come over and join with us where there is a very nice prize awaiting you from All That Scraps. We would love to see what you consider your favorite things!

For my DT Sample Card, I used Bazzill for the base, PTI for all double matting, and the DPs are digitals by Nitwits. All major panels are machine stitched. On the front I used a sketch by Janneke. For the horizontal I used 1 1/2" Light Blue Grosgrain and red satin which was tied into a double flat bow to hold a snowflake charm. The sweet Tilda was stamped on Cryogen White, colored with Copics, adding a bit of Star Dust Stickles, Silver Spica, and white flocking, and cut out with Nesties. Which reminds me that all of the You Are So Special Maggies are now available for pre-order over at Magnolia-licious. And you want to hurry right over because they will be in-house before you can blink an eye!!! The sentiments are from Stampendous. Finally I added some snowflake ornaments.

When you see the inside you can guess that I made this card for ME!!!!! Laughing!!! We have had almost 2 feet of snow since Christmas Eve which is almost more than I can even imagine IF I hadn't seen it in my yard!!! So from my perspective, you can appreciate this sentiment for sure!!! The inside of course is quite simple with more of the same that I used on the front of the card.

Bubble Bath at RRR Blog Hop!!

Happy Thursday everyone!! I hope you are having a marvelous week! My snow still remains and I am almost at the point of CABIN FEVER so if I disappear for several days, you will know what the problem is...lolol!!!!

Welcome to the January Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon! If you have arrived here from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings site then you are at the right place and on the right track. If you have arrived here first, please start the hop at the RRR Ramblings so that you will know what terrific prizes await you this month. We were asked to use ribbons from the January Ribbon Club Assortment and they are so absolutely gorgeous and are definitely Valentine's Day!!! They are MY colors and I love them all---you can see them in my SWEET STUFF below!!!! I wanted to use all of them BUT my brain just could not figure out how to be that creative....smile... You will find that several of the ribbons each month are unique to club members and are not available in the shop---one of the great benefits of being a member of the Ribbon Club and one of the reasons to join!!

I have the best mailman in the world! He brings me packages several times a week and brings them to my door!! It doesn't matter that I have ordered STUFF but I tell him thanks for the present everytime!!! I finally had to explain to him why I get so many packages (ultimate shopper) and assure him it was not anything clandestine...and I showed him my cards. He asked if I would make a card for him to give his wife on their special anniversary in February so this is the card!!! For my easel card, I used Bazzill for the base and matting, and all of the DP is from the Classic Collection by Tilda of Norway...I love their papers!! I stamped the very darling Lili of the Valley Bubble Bath onto Cryogen White, colored it with Copics, adding Prisma Glitter, and Glossy Accents for some sparkle and shine, and placed on double Nesties. For the horizontal I used a pink dotted satin which is a member special from the January Ribbon Club Collection, tied into a double flat bow using the Bow-Easy Tool and dangling an open heart charm to accompany the key on the upper left corner. I also used a Melissa Frances cornerpiece and light pink pearls to soften the corners. The floral treatment is all by Wild Orchid Crafts: Gypsophilia Stems, 4 mm Closed Rosebuds, and 15 mm Open Roses, all resting on MS Punched rose leaves.

The base of the card is more of the same with the addition of a Happy Anniversary sentiment on a Spellbinders Fancy Label trimmed with small pearls and a MF adornment for the stop. I hope you like my little creation and will decide to join with us this month at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings Challenge.

SWEET STUFF...and now for some SWEET STUFF to celebrate the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop!!!! Please leave a comment before Sunday, January 16 at Midnight EST if you would like to be eligible. Although it is not a requirement, I would love for you to become a follower and spread the word to your blogging friends. I hope you like the SWEET STUFF this time!!!

1 Really Reasonable Ribbon January Ribbon Club Collection
1 Martha Stewart Heart Punch
1 Pack of Melissa Frances Pearls
4 Bunches of Red and Pink Mulberry Roses

And now your next stop along the Hopping Way is at the magnificently talented APHRA ....I know she will have something very exciting and creative for you to see!!! So safe hopping and enjoy each step of the way!!!
