Wee Love You Bunches...and WINNER...and SWEET STUFF!!!

A very happy Thursday to each of you!! I hope you are having a wonderful week and are getting prepared for a marvelous weekend! I am in the throes of remodeling a bathroom so, with my impatience, I am almost at wit's end!!! I wanted it finished yesterday BUT it takes forever to get cabinetry and countertops ordered and delivered...so for now I will just pace the floors!!!

I made this little card today for no special reason, except to show you another of the absolutely darling images in the New Release over at Whimsy Stamps and to offer this cutie for one of my Followers as a bit of SWEET STUFF! This image, Wee Love You Bunches is designed by the incredibly talented Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamps. She was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Flexmarkers, adding a bit of Prisma Glitter to the flower centers and the bee's wings. The base of the card is Bazzill, the double matting is PTI, and the sweet DP is from the Echo Park For The Record 2. I used a gold tipped satin ribbon for the vertical and added a wee bumble bee button to the upper corner of the image panel. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts: TRELLIS ROSE, CURLY WILD ROSES, CARNATIONS, and ASTER DAISIES, with several PEARL FLOWER PINS.

For my card I used the darling little witch HAZEL designed by the amazing Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamps...isn't she a cutie!!! She was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Flexmarkers. The base is Bazzill, the double matting is PTI, and the DP is from the Best Creation Happy Haunting Glitter Pad. I used purple and orange grosgrain ribbon to crisscross the card and used a double flat bow to anchor a jack-o-lantern charm. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts: 1" TEA ROSES, CARNATIONS, and HIP ROSEBUDS. The BOO squares were in my stash...and I am so upset at myself because I wanted to use the brand new SPELL IT OUT ALPHABET TILES but I couldn't find them anywhere in my house or the cottage house!!!! ARGH!!!!! Finally I finished the front with SELF ADHESIVE PEARLS.

Help requested.....Please consider!!!

The little 9 year old daughter of a very close friend of one of our very dear blogging friends, DONALDA, has been diagnosed 3 weeks ago with Leukemia. You can see her HERE and see all the pictures of her and what everyone is doing for her . The Leukemia is a rare form and they are doubling the chemo on her at the moment. She always played sports and is so upset right now that she can't play.


Donalda is asking that anyone who wishes to help can do so by sending her a card to help cheer her up. She is home now and goes intermittently to the hospital to have her chemo. She is not feeling up to par now and Donalda would appreciate if you all would please send her a card or anything you would like to help cheer her up. And most of all PLEASE keep her and her family in your prayers.


If anyone is willing to help out please email Donalda at dolphin57@frontier.com for her address. And please pass this message along to everyone you might know if you would.

Thank you all so very much for your consideration!!! As an adult, cancer was frightening, but as a child I can't imagine the trauma that this little sweetie must be feeling!!! Let's all bring a little sunshine to her cute little face!!!

Happy Day everyone!!! I hope you had a great week and are moving right along in a marvelous weekend!!! I am running a day late and probably a dollar short but I wanted to get the posting up today as soon as possible!!

This week at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge our theme is HEARTS, so you can use hearts any way you wish and still be in the challenge!! And there is a marvelous prize for some lucky participant...So come on over and join in with us--we would LOVE to see your lovely creations!!

For my card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting and the DP is from the Echo Park Season's Greetings paper pad. I used the darling little Cozy Christmas Bear which is on Pre-Order at Magnolia-licious. He was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics and Flexmarkers, adding some Liquid Applique for his hat. For the horizontal I used wide grosgrain topped with a satin ribbon tied into a double flat bow to dangle a sweet Christmas stocking charm from SILVER METALLIC CORD. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts: POINSETTIAS centered with HEART SHAPED FLAT BACK PEARLS which I have also used on the image panel.

A New Christmas Tilda and WINNERS GALORE!!!!

Happy Friday to everyone! I hope you have had a marvelous week and are looking forward to the weekend. Well, I have to share with you that I made the Virginia Creeper Trail like I told you BUT not without a mishap about 2/3 of the way down the mountain....hahahha...Keep in mind that I hadn't been on a bicycle in probably 50 years but that was not the cause of the mishap...I hit some soft sand and went down like a sinking ship BUT I lived to tell about it...but my knee has been in the doctor's office and X-ray today and nothing is broken or torn (except maybe my feelings...lol) AND I did finish the rest of the bike ride on these legs with blood dripping into my shoes....laughingggggg!!!!




And now on a serious note...this week at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we have been given the theme of PEARLS and SWIRLS so we hope you will come on over and see the several interpretations of the DT and decide to join in with us! There is a very nice prize for some lucky participant!!

For my card I used one of the darling images from the Little Christmas Collection from Magnolia-licious called Christmas Tilda with Cat. She was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics and Flexmarkers, adding a touch of Pearl Pen and Stickles. The base and double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the MME Winter Wonderland Collection. I used a light aqua swirl of pearls for the left margin and for the horizontal I used red grosgrain topped with light aqua stitched ribbon tied into a double flat bow to dangle a couple of Miniature Bells. I also used some of the beautiful WOC Flat Back Scalloped Pearls on the middle panel.
