Tilda with Christmas Ribbon at Friday Sketchers #129 and WINNERS!!

Gosh, it's Friday again!! So, a very Happy Friday to YOU!! I hope you have had a wonderful week and are almost prepared for an even better weekend!! Can you believe that the holiday season is almost here???

This week at Friday Sketchers #129 we are being hosted by Janneke from the Netherlands who has given us a very challenging sketch. I hope you will drop on over and join with us so we can see your creative interpretation of the sketch! A very nice prize from Sunshine and Giggles Stamps is being offered this week.

For my DT Sample card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting and the DP is all digital by Nitwit Collections. All panels are machine stitched. The darling little Tilda with Christmas Ribbon from the new Christmas collection was stamped on Cryogen White, colored with Copics and a touch of Stickles, and cut out with Nesties. This cutie is now available over at Magnolia-licious along with many other holiday Maggies! I did add a little touch of Shimmerz to the ribbon to give just a bit of sheen. For the horizontal I used 1.5" Red Grosgrain and 3/8" Merry Christmas Satin, and for the 2 small bows I used 1/4" Ruby Red Satin--all from Really Reasonable Ribbon. To complete the front I used tiny snowflakes to soften the corners and the floral treatment is made of Petaloo poinsettias.

The inside is quite simple using the same papers, ribbons, and embellies as the front with the addition of a gold Christmas tree charm on the first panel.

I hope you like my little creation and will be able to join us at Friday Sketchers this week. We would love to see your card using Janneke's sketch!! Please visit each of the Sassy Sketcher Girls' blogs and let them know what you think of their magnificent creations!!!
