RRR March Bloghop with SWEET STUFF!!!!

Happy Sunday and welcome to the March Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon! If you have arrived here from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings site then you are at the right place and on the right track. We were asked to use ribbons from the March Ribbon Club Assortment and they are so absolutely gorgeous and are so very SPRINGTIME!!! They are so cute and lovely---you can see them in my SWEET STUFF below!!!! I wanted to use all of the purple lusciousness BUT I settled on one ribbon and one lace....smile... You will find that several of the ribbons each month are unique to club members and are not available in the shop---one of the great benefits of being a member of the Ribbon Club and one of the reasons to join!!

This month I made a different kind of card/box that I haven't made in quite a while--it holds 6 bars of chocolate and ties on the side. I used Bazzill for the base and all matting; and the DP is from the Floral Paper Stack by Wild Rose Studio. All panels are double matted and machine stitched. I used the absolutely darling image of Spring Swing by LOTV which was stamped on XPress Blending Card, colored with Copics, adding a bit of Doodlebug Crushed Velvet Flock on his cottontail! For the horizontal I used a gorgeous white cotton lace and a 5/8" purple ribbon, both from the March Ribbon Club assortment. The floral treatment is all by Wild Orchid Crafts: 40mm Classic Sweet Rose, 25mm Open Roses, 15mm Open Roses, Aster Daisies, and Heather Stem Flowers. To soften all corners I added Self-Adhesive Pearls.



On the inside I used coordinating papers from the same stack, adding touches of the same lace and ribbon and adding a double bow made with the Bow Easy Tool. The sentiment is also from LOTV's For You Circular Sentiment Set, cut out with triple Nesties.



The back of the card/box was decorated with my personal stamp, a gift from an old friend.
