Blowing Love Bubbles at Friday Sketchers #144

A very happy Friday to everyone!! I hope you have had a splendid week and are ready for a wonderful weekend. It has been so gorgeous this week here in the mountains and I am so ready for springtime!! However we are expecting lots of rain this weekend and chillier weather...so this was short-lived!! But I am not complaining as long as I don't see white stuff on the ground and ice in the trees!!!

This week at Friday Sketchers #144 we are being hosted by the magnificently talented Rach who has provided a fun sketch for all of us. For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base and all matting is PTI Berry Sorbet and Smokey Shadow. The DP is from the Hazel paperpad by My Mind's Eye. All panels were machine stitched. The darling little elephant, Blowing Bubbles, is a sneak peek from the upcoming release at Lili of the Valley--as a matter of fact the days are clicking down and it won't be long until these little darlings will be available!! The magic date is Wednesday, March 9 so get ready for the cutest little animals ever!!! The image was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics, adding Glossy Accents to the bubbles. The Tons Of Love sentiment was computer generated. The image and sentiment are resting on A Cheery Lynn Canadian Kaleidoscope diecut. For the horizontal I used PTI ribbon tied into a flat bow and dangling a silver elephant charm. The floral treatment (which did NOT photograph true to color) is all from Wild Orchid Crafts: Cherry Blossoms and Asters. I have said before that I know NOTHING about taking pictures or editing them so you will just have to take my word that the flowers DO match!! hahahahha NOTE: I have replaced the picture thanks to the amazing editing ability of my sweet friend SUZAN!! Thanks so much, Sweetie!!!!



The inside is very simple using the same DP and ribbon but I think that Kaleidoscope with a round nestie is such a pretty jotting spot!
