Running Tilda at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge and WINNER!!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!!! Are we ready for a wonderful weekend, or not???? Daylight Savings time begins for many of us this weekend...so I don't know whether to go to bed early or get up late...Maybe both!!!! lolol

This week at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we have a fun and exciting sketch by the very talented Bev of All the Things I Love and we would love for you to come over and join in with us. There are also two fabulous prizes being offered this week by Dies to Die For and Letraset!!!

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base and all matting; the DP is from the Julianne paper pad by K&Co. All background panels are machine stitched. I used the darling little Running Tilda from the Butterfly Dreams Collection at Magnolia-licious. She was stamped on XPress Blending Card, colored with Copics, adding a few Stickles to the flowers, Glossy Accents to her shoes, and Flower Soft to ground her. She was then cut out with double Nesties, resting her on a double Dizzy Doily by MFT Stamps. For the horizontal I used some gorgeous Natural Cotton Lace topped with PTI satin ribbon. The floral treatment is from Wild Orchid Crafts: Gardenia Stem Flower and Cherry Blossoms augmented by 2 cream Hat Pins. To soften the corners I used a Gold Filagree Metal Corner and Pearls.



On the inside I used papers from the same pad...on the first panel, another Dizzy Doily with ribbon tied into a bow to dangle a cute flower with butterfly charm and on the second panel a jotting spot surrounded by Doohickey Flourishes from Magnolia-licious, which I'm sure will be back in stock soon!
