LOTV Challenge - Say It With Flowers!!

A very happy Thursday to everyone! I hope you are moving right along in a fun-filled week...and just think!! It won't be long until the weekend! We are having so much rain and threats of flooding...BUT I am not complaining because I don't have to shovel rain!!!

Today is Challenge 87 over at the magnificent LOTV Challenge Blog which happens each Thursday. This week the theme is "Say It With Flowers" which is right up my alley!! What would I do without flowers, ribbon, and a few more things...lolol. Of course the image I have used is LOTV Gift Wrapped from the brand new collection of the cutest animals you have ever seen and can be found HERE. There are the cutest mice, bears, bunnies, kittens, and even a precious ellie in the collection!!! The image was stamped on XPress Blending Card, colored with Copics, adding a bit of Prisma Glitter and cutting it out using triple Nesties. The card base is Bazzill, the floral DP is from the Blueberry Hill paper pack by Papermania, and the gingham checks is from the Kitchengarden paperpad by Tilda. All background panels are machine stitched. For the vertical I used a 7/8" Pink Double-Faced Satin tied into a double bow. All of the floral treatment is from Wild Orchid Crafts: Small Flat Gardenia, 25mm Wild Roses, 20mm Open Roses, Aster Daisies, and 4mm Closed Rosebuds. To finish the front I added jeweled organza butterflies to the bow and to the bottom of the floral treatment.



The inside is very simple, using the same papers as the front. For the first panel I merely used the same ribbon with bows and on the jotting panel I only dangled a silver heart charm from the bow with silver cording.
