Hello and welcome to the

Whimsy Stamps June Release Sneak Peak Blog Hop!

Today the Whimsy DT and our June Special Guest, Gina, are kicking off our June release by sharing sneak peeks of some of the brand new Wee Stamps, Kenny K and Momas Collection stamps that will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store TOMORROW!

For those of you who are new to Whimsy Stamps, we hold a 3-day new release event each month: a Sneak Peek Blog Hop on the day before the release (today), a Release Day Blog Hop on release day (tomorrow), and finally a Review Day Blog Hop the day after the release. 

Each blog hop has a prize of 2 new release stamps hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw! And here is my card and little wall hanging for today.....

 

I used the absolutely precious little Wee One designed by the incomparable artist Sylvia Zet of Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps. The link is for the rubber stamp at the Whimsy Stamp shop but you can also get the image as a digi at Sylvia's shop right HERE.

 

 

 For the card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting and the gingham DP can be found on the sidebar of the blog of my dear and talented friend Bev Rochester right HERE. Thanks, Bev!! The sweet image was colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a bit of Prisma Glitter. I used some dainty pre-gathered lace to surround the image and a satin ribbon for the horizontal. The sentiment is from the Welcome Baby Sentiments set designed by Raindrop Echo Designs for Whimsy Stamps. To finish the front I added some little baby bottles to the corners.

 

The inside of the card is quite simple--I merely added some little baby themed buttons to the jotting spot.

 

The little wall hanging was quick as a wink and certainly not creative but I think it is kinda cute. I found the little pink gingham outfit at some shop in California when I was at CHA last year. I just placed it on a hanger (which I think is from Crafty Secrets), computer generated a sentiment, Welcome Wee One, added a couple more baby bottles and a touch of ribbon. How quick and easy was that!!!!!
