A New Christmas Tilda and WINNERS GALORE!!!!

Happy Friday to everyone! I hope you have had a marvelous week and are looking forward to the weekend. Well, I have to share with you that I made the Virginia Creeper Trail like I told you BUT not without a mishap about 2/3 of the way down the mountain....hahahha...Keep in mind that I hadn't been on a bicycle in probably 50 years but that was not the cause of the mishap...I hit some soft sand and went down like a sinking ship BUT I lived to tell about it...but my knee has been in the doctor's office and X-ray today and nothing is broken or torn (except maybe my feelings...lol) AND I did finish the rest of the bike ride on these legs with blood dripping into my shoes....laughingggggg!!!!

And now on a serious note...this week at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we have been given the theme of PEARLS and SWIRLS so we hope you will come on over and see the several interpretations of the DT and decide to join in with us! There is a very nice prize for some lucky participant!!

For my card I used one of the darling images from the Little Christmas Collection from Magnolia-licious called Christmas Tilda with Cat. She was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics and Flexmarkers, adding a touch of Pearl Pen and Stickles. The base and double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the MME Winter Wonderland Collection. I used a light aqua swirl of pearls for the left margin and for the horizontal I used red grosgrain topped with light aqua stitched ribbon tied into a double flat bow to dangle a couple of Miniature Bells. I also used some of the beautiful WOC Flat Back Scalloped Pearls on the middle panel.

WINNERS AND MORE WINNERS!!!!

First let me say I am sorry that the Little Blue Froggy did not cooperate very well, but I want you all to be assured that everyone, whether you were on the Frog listing or placed a comment, was included in the draw by Mr Random.org. So the winner of the Die and Stamp Set is.....

83. Audrey G.

And I did go through every participant in the SWEET STUFF of Wild Orchid Crafts Gift Certificates to make sure that nobody had more than one entry...whew!!! Finally I can announce that the winners are....

$30 GC - 361. Rosalee M.
$20 GC - 199. Vivi Casale
$15 GC - 82. Rhonda Miller

Congratulations, ladies!! Please leave a comment on this posting so that others know that you have claimed your prize and send me an email before Sunday, August 12 at 8 AM so that I can take care of your prizes right away!!!

Thank you all very much for dropping by today and I hope to see you again real soon! Until the next time I send big hugs!!

Love your sweet Christmas card. The pearls look like snow blowing around the cozy little homes. Tilda looks very cozy though with her kitten!

You are a fighter....no doubt about that!!!!!! Reminds me of my daughter who went for a week of hiking at Isle Royale with the wrong hiking shoes. She had to put her bloody feet in those darn shoes day after day because there was no other option but to keep going or miss the ship!!!!!!!!!!!Her feet were a disaster, but, luckily, she fully recovered! Got a free pair of hiking boots from the company!!!!!!!!
Your card is spectacular....can't wait to get this darling Tilda!!!!

Oh Jacque -- so sorry to see your banged up knee. I'm sure it is stiff and sore, and hoped that it will heal quickly. So glad to hear that you were able to finish your bike trip!

This little Tilda is adorable and I love the DP you've used behind. All those little snowy houses are perfect with this Christmas theme!

Laetitia said...

oh Jacque, I hope it didn't hurt too much. It sure does look sore but luckily you didn't break anything. Is it an excuse to stay indoors and have more time to craft ??!
I wish you a speedy recovery.
Love the card too, the colours are non-traditional and it is nice to have something different.
Enjoy your Sunday,
Laetitia xx
