Bubble Bath at RRR Blog Hop!!

Happy Thursday everyone!! I hope you are having a marvelous week! My snow still remains and I am almost at the point of CABIN FEVER so if I disappear for several days, you will know what the problem is...lolol!!!!

Welcome to the January Blog Hop at Really Reasonable Ribbon! If you have arrived here from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings site then you are at the right place and on the right track. If you have arrived here first, please start the hop at the RRR Ramblings so that you will know what terrific prizes await you this month. We were asked to use ribbons from the January Ribbon Club Assortment and they are so absolutely gorgeous and are definitely Valentine's Day!!! They are MY colors and I love them all---you can see them in my SWEET STUFF below!!!! I wanted to use all of them BUT my brain just could not figure out how to be that creative....smile... You will find that several of the ribbons each month are unique to club members and are not available in the shop---one of the great benefits of being a member of the Ribbon Club and one of the reasons to join!!

I have the best mailman in the world! He brings me packages several times a week and brings them to my door!! It doesn't matter that I have ordered STUFF but I tell him thanks for the present everytime!!! I finally had to explain to him why I get so many packages (ultimate shopper) and assure him it was not anything clandestine...and I showed him my cards. He asked if I would make a card for him to give his wife on their special anniversary in February so this is the card!!! For my easel card, I used Bazzill for the base and matting, and all of the DP is from the Classic Collection by Tilda of Norway...I love their papers!! I stamped the very darling Lili of the Valley Bubble Bath onto Cryogen White, colored it with Copics, adding Prisma Glitter, and Glossy Accents for some sparkle and shine, and placed on double Nesties. For the horizontal I used a pink dotted satin which is a member special from the January Ribbon Club Collection, tied into a double flat bow using the Bow-Easy Tool and dangling an open heart charm to accompany the key on the upper left corner. I also used a Melissa Frances cornerpiece and light pink pearls to soften the corners. The floral treatment is all by Wild Orchid Crafts: Gypsophilia Stems, 4 mm Closed Rosebuds, and 15 mm Open Roses, all resting on MS Punched rose leaves.

The base of the card is more of the same with the addition of a Happy Anniversary sentiment on a Spellbinders Fancy Label trimmed with small pearls and a MF adornment for the stop. I hope you like my little creation and will decide to join with us this month at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Ramblings Challenge.

SWEET STUFF...and now for some SWEET STUFF to celebrate the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop!!!! Please leave a comment before Sunday, January 16 at Midnight EST if you would like to be eligible. Although it is not a requirement, I would love for you to become a follower and spread the word to your blogging friends. I hope you like the SWEET STUFF this time!!!

1 Really Reasonable Ribbon January Ribbon Club Collection
1 Martha Stewart Heart Punch
1 Pack of Melissa Frances Pearls
4 Bunches of Red and Pink Mulberry Roses

And now your next stop along the Hopping Way is at the magnificently talented APHRA ....I know she will have something very exciting and creative for you to see!!! So safe hopping and enjoy each step of the way!!!

Thank you so much for dropping by today and I hope you will come back often!!! It is always such a joy to know that you have visited!!! If you have any questions, please send me an email and I will respond quickly. So often I see questions in your comments and there is no email address for you so I can't respond...sorry.. I hope you have a delightful week and until we meet again...be safe and happy!!! Big hugs for each of you!!!!

This is so adorable, I love your bunnies in a bathtub image and the great card design....and of course the ribbon. Love the story about your mailman and he is going to love this one! My mail carrier finally broke down and asked, "what is it that you keep getting?", lol. She was so surprised that it was rubber stamps and paper and ribbon, lol.

I am a mailcarrier as well and would love to have a customer make a card for me but wish I had more time to work on my own. Its been a crazy January and we are shorthanded so Sundays have been my only day off! :( But more money towards my daughter's wedding at the end of the year. Thanks for sharing such wonderful work! Your card is stunning and I am sure your postman's wife will be very pleased that he had such an attention for her. The bunnies in their bubble bath are so cute. They actually make me laugh (I don't know why exactly, but the most important is that they make me feel happy).
The papers are stunning and I love all the embellishments you used too.
A great inspiration from you.
Thank you.
