What a Cutie Pie at Friday Sketchers #105!!

Happy Friday Everyone!!! I hope you have had a delightful week and are prepared for an even more fun and exciting weekend!! This week has been one of steady improvement after last weekend, so all is well!! And gosh, I am looking forward to a great weekend and a GREAT week next week! It is so exciting to see the end of the chemo in sight. Next week is my Pre-Chemo soiree and then the next Monday the LAST Chemo Party!!! I can hardly wait!!! I tell ya, a celebration is in order when this is all finished!!

This week at Friday Sketchers #105 we are hosted by Janneke of the Netherlands who has designed a wonderful sketch for us to use. Thanks so much, Janneke, for the fun and challenging sketch!! I hope you will all come over and join with us this week so that we can see your creative interpretation of Janneke's sketch!! The prize this week is a very nice one from Stitchy Bear Stamps. So come on over!!

I used Bazzill for the base, all matting is PTI, and the DP is all from the 6" Paper Pad by Kaisercraft called Tea at Elsie's. I just love these papers. I don't think you can tell by the photo, but the peach dotted background paper is actually softly flocked. All panels are double matted and machine stitched. The image is a darling little hÄnglar & stÄnglar girlie, a gift from a special friend and stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics. The horizontal uses PTI satin ribbon which matches the matting, adding a flat bow and sweet sun face charm which has "made with a smile" on the back. For the floral treatment I used a Magnolia peach Tulle shabby chic rose and small blue flowers and buds which are from Michaels.

I hope you like my little creation and will be able to join us at Friday Sketchers this week. We would love to see your card using Janneke's sketch!! Please visit each of the Sassy Sketcher Girls' blogs and let them know what you think of their magnificent creations!!!
Aud, Bea, Claudia, Inge, Jacqueline, Janneke, Jeanette, Tanja

Thank you so much for dropping by!! I can't tell you enough how special your visits are to me!! Thank you very much for your visits, your kind and sweet comments, your emails, your cards, and especially your thoughts. You have all made my journey so much easier by just knowing that you are there, wherever you may be!! Great big hugs for each of you!!!!

Gorgeous card Jacque- loving the colours you have used.
Delighted you'll soon be finished with the chemo- I've been with you all the way covering you with prayer. I know exactly what you're going through as I went through it all with my son. I never realised just how tough the chemo is on your body until he had to have 3 months of it. That was 2 yrs ago and he's doing just fine. Keep battling-PMA (positive mental attitude) is the key thing, and you, my friend have it in abundance- good on you.
Many hugs,
Trish x
