SPECIAL REQUEST!!!!

Oh my goodness!!! How cute and sweet is this little face?? Unfortunately, his smile does not tell the entire story...sigh

Little Danny Nickerson, of Foxboro, MA has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and statistically this will be his last birthday, July 25. His only request is to receive birthday cards...how touching is that? We are all cardmakers and perhaps we could all step up to the plate and make this his happiest of birthdays. I know we all are keyed into the lovely comments and kind evaluations we receive about our cards, but what is the REAL meaning of cardmaking, if not for the joy we bring to others??? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE join with me in sharing one of your cards with this darling of little guys so that his wish will come true. Even if you are too far away for the card to get to him in time for his birthday I can only guess that he will be exceptionally thrilled to see cards from afar!!!

Danny Nickerson
PO Box 212
Foxboro, MA 02035 USA

Thank you so much!! Love and hugs!!

Thank you so much for posting this. I have the card ready to mail this afternoon. It break my heart. If we all send a card this will make him so happy.... and this is the memory that his family need to have to have.... Danny being happy.

I read this on a few blogs yesterday and it just broke my heart. My youngest grandson was born very ill and it was touch and go as to whether he would make it and if he did what the long term outcome would be. So my heart breaks for this family and I can relate to what they are going through. Thankfully our family did not have the outcome that Danny's family is facing.

My grandson and I each mailed Danny a card yesterday hoping to add to the happiness he requested.
