BLUE and WHITE at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge



Happy Friday everyone and best wishes for a marvelous weekend! I has been so beautiful here in these mountains and next week we are supposed to have weather in the 70's F (21+C)...and gosh, I can't wait!!

This week at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge the theme is BLUE and WHITE and there is a wonderful prize being offered by Crafts U Love. So come on over and bring your Maggies or Hanglies and play along with us! We would love to see your beautiful creations!

For my card this week I used the darling little Tilda With Blue Blanket from the brand new Princes and Princesses Collection at Magnolia-licious. She was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copics, and cut out with Petite Oval Nesties. The base of my card is Bazzill, the double matting is PTI, the DP is from the Maja Design LANTLIV - Life in the Country paper pad, and all background panels are machine stitched. For the vertical I used a PTI satin ribbon tied into a double flat bow and some scalloped pearl trim on the outside edge. The floral treatment is all from Wild Orchid Crafts: Trellis Roses, Carnations, and Sweetheart Blossoms.


The inside is so very simple because I wanted my very favorite papers to show as much as possible. Oh My...I just love this shade of blue!!

    Oh My Goodness Jacque, Your card is so gorgeous!! I didn't get this Tilda and now after seeing how sweet she is on your card, I wish I did!! I love the beautiful DP's that you used along with the gorgeous flowers!! I also love the pearls you added along the edge!!

    Gosh 21°C?! This is summer weather in Austria...;)...well, we also can have 31°C during summer, but 21°C sounds of course like lovely sunny weather =)

    Hi Jacque~

    I love the layout of this card! The 2 scalloped ovals and the image on a solid white oval. I love the flowers...especially the large flower. That color is amazing! Do you happen to have the name of it...perhaps you have a matching paper or marker with a name? I LOVE it. She is adorable...her hair looks so cute, and I love how you really show highlights and creases when you color.

    I just figured out how to make that bow! LOL I've been plagued from not knowing! LOL
