Bird Swing, WINNER, and SWEET STUFF!!

A very happy Saturday to everyone!! I hope you have moved into what is a marvelous weekend! And remember for those of us on Daylight Savings Time in the US that this is the weekend to move fast because we will have one less hour.....argh!!!!

I wanted to show you all a card that I made for the Whimsy Stamps Inspiration Magazine, Issue 7 which was published just this past week. And of course I used a darling little Wee Stamp by Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamps called Bird Swing....and aren't they just so cute and sweet!!!! They were stamped on X-Press It Blending Card, colored with Copics and a bit of MS Silver Glitter pen for the swing, and cut out with Nesties. I used Bazzill for the base, PTI for the double matting, the DP is The Garden of Blue Flowers by Denise Ann, and all background panels were machine stitched. The bird cage is a MB die and the sentiment is from Fanciful Birthday Notables 1 framed with a N1 Fancy Feather Frame by Make It Crafty. To finish the front I added some white feathers, pearls, and a satin bow.



On the inside I used some PTI Dots DP to showcase the jotting panel from the same paper pack mentioned above along with another bird cage diecut with silver cording.
