A very happy Thursday to everyone! I hope you are having a great week and are preparing for an even better weekend!!! Gosh it has been so nice here the past two days that I am waiting on the other shoe to drop!! PLEASE be springtime!!!!!
This week over at the Lili's Little Fairies Challenge we were given the theme of RIBBON and LACE and now what could be easier...for me anyway!!! That's kinda like....Don't throw me in the briar patch!!" hahah...I love using lace AND ribbon so I really enjoyed this challenge. We are sponsored this week by the lovely ladies at The Ribbon Girl so you can bet that the prize will be scrumptious!! We hope you will come on over and join in with us and show us your lovely creativity with Ribbon and Lace!
For my easel card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting, the DP is a digital by Michell Roos called Rose Garden and available at Whimsy Stamps, and all panels are machine stitched. I have used the darling little LOTV Blossom from the latest release and colored her with Copics and Promarkers. The image is encircled with pre-gathered lace and on each side are bows of ruffled organza. All of the floral treatment is from Wild Orchid Crafts: 1" Hybrid Tea Rose, 1/8" Closed Rosebuds, Carnations, Sweetheart Blossoms, and Pearl Sprays. Of course I also used Self Adhesive Pearls for the corners.
The metal "Blow Out The Candles" on the base of the easel is from MM.
