A Pretty Bouquet for YOU!!!...and WINNERS!!!

A very happy Monday to everyone and best wishes for a wonderful week! Gosh this weekend turned into a crazy one in these mountains. It has turned so COLD and, as if that was not enough, it was so windy that I lost electricity in my house from Saturday evening until Sunday evening...and my house, even with a gas fireplace, was down to 54 Degrees F (12 degrees C)!!! Thank heavens for the cottage house which didn't lose power!!! And when I finally did get to come back home, I had no heat and had to call the heating repairman...whew...at least he came and reset the furnace...so all is well again!!!

My card today uses a real little cutie from the upcoming collection at LOTV which will be on sale on February 20...so mark your calendar and put aside some pennies!!! They are all so delightful!!!! This image is called PRETTY BOUQUET and was so much fun to play with!! She was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics, adding a bit of Prisma Glitter to the butterflies. The base and all double matting is Bazzill, the DP is from the new MME Miss Caroline's Dilly Dally paper pad from Susanas Custom Art & Card Design, and all panels were machine stitched. For the vertical I used SU grosgrain ribbon tied into a newfangled (to me) bow made with Brilliant Bowmaker template I was able to buy at CHA...kinda different, isn't it? I topped it with a simple button. The floral treatment is all from Wild Orchid Crafts: 1 1/2" Trellis Rose, Daffodils, and Sweetheart Blossoms, accented with a couple of Heart Shaped Pins. Finally I added a few Self-Adhesive Pearls to soften the corners.



The inside is VERY simple because I wanted all of the paper to show...love those checks!!! the jotting panel is just a kraft envelope with a tag, resting on a GROW bingo card.
