Tilda With Kite at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge

A very happy Friday to everyone!!! I hope you are ending a marvelous week and are as ready as I am for a weekend.

This week at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we are hosted by the very talented Jane who has provided us a really fun sketch to use for the challenge. The fabulous prize this week is sponsored by 7 Kids College Fund...So come on over and play along with us!!!! We would love to see your creations!!

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting; the DP is from the First Edition Hideaway Paper Pad (which is soooo sparkly and pretty); and all panels are machine stitched. The cute image I used is Tilda With Kite from Magnolia-licious and she was colored with Copics and a touch of Star Dust Stickles on the lace. Tilda and the kite were cut out and propped up for dimension. I attempted a Bev background using her wonderful template. This was my first attempt at this so please be tender...lol I used some Divine Twine from WOC for the kite string and tail, adding a few tiny silk ribbons to the tail. The background doily is by MFT. For the horizontal I used a yellow raffia ribbon. The small floral treatment resting on MS punched branches is all from Wild Orchid Crafts: 35mm Trellis Rose and Hip Rosebuds. I finished the front with WOC Pearls.


The inside is more of the same materials from the front with the addition of a couple of yellow gingham flat bows and some 10mm Open Roses.
