A very happy Friday to everyone!! Hey!! It's almost weekend and I know we all look forward to weekends!! I intend to make every one of them SPECIAL, too!!! I hope you are ending a very nice week and are prepared for a special weekend also, wherever you might be!!
Today at Friday Sketchers #121, we are being hosted by the marvelously creative and unbelievably talented Jeanette of Canada! She has given us a marvelous sketch and one which can be used in so many ways. Thank you so much, Jeanette...it was really alot of fun!!! I hope that you will come over and join with us this week so that you will be eligible for a great prize from Simon Says Stamp.
For my DT Sample Card I made an easel card using Bazzill for the base, all matting is PTI, and the DP is Recollections and PTI dots. All major panels were machine stitched. For the front of the card I stamped that darling little hÄnglar & stÄnglar harvest girl on Cryogen White and colored her with Copics. For the horizontal I used 1.5" Jute Ribbon Natural and Totally Twill Old Gold from Really Reasonable Ribbon. A set of autumn leaves dangles from the twill bow which is topped with an "Autumn Days" brad. To complete the scene, I used silk leaves and a couple of stickled pumpkins at the little girl's feet. For the floral treatment, I used flat flowers from Crafty Feeling centered with flower buttons, all resting on more silk leaves.
Since it is so difficult for me to photograph easel cards, I wanted you to see the base which again used the jute and twill ribbon horizontal, more buttons, and a sentiment on a Fancy Tag.

Love the autumn card. We don't have much of autumn colours in SA, but right now we are into glorious spring, with lovely scents in the garden, just waiting for some rain. Have a wonderful weekend.

Everytime I look at your card I am getting more impress by your création. Everytime I tell myself it can't get better but the next time it is. Your card are as lovely inside out. You put so much passion in your card that it's send it all the way up to my house. Very nice realisation.

I absolutely love this card. I wish I had seen it a few weeks ago. I worked at an antique farm show this weekend in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, and people would have loved this. Our trees are turning beautiful colors up here right now. Thanks for sharing this one!!

Oooh how I love this card!!!!! Everything about it is amazing. Every time I look at it I see more detail to love....and you used a Hanglar which is like gold here is the US!!!! It reminds me of one of the very last times I was with my father before he passed away. I live in Michigan and we had taken a drive through the Irish Hills to see all of the fall colors on the trees. It has brought me to tears...but happy tears...for the wonderful memory that you brought back for me in your card=)
