Kite Flying at Flower Soft and The {Stamps} of Life BLOG HOP and a wee bit of SWEET STUFF for YOU!!

NOTE: Obviously Blogger had a problem earlier today and the first 71 comments do not appear below but luckily I received email notifications of everyone who has left a comment so EVERYONE will be listed by hand and included in the SWEET STUFF draw. It was an across the board Blogger problem which affected everyone's comments. Sometimes computers will just drive ya NUTZ!!!

A very happy Tuesday to everyone!! I hope your week has started as well as mine! I had the chemo port removed today from my chest so all that remains is a bald head and a few stitches!! So we are improving greatly...I find out tomorrow when the 6-8 weeks of everyday radiation begins but heck, that's nothing!! So all is well here!! We are getting closer and closer to cartwheel time!! SMILES!!

Are we all ready to have some FUN, FUN, FUN? Today is the joint Blog Hop with Flower Soft and The {Stamps} of Life. If you have arrived here first I would ask that you start at the Flower Soft Blog for all of the instructions. However, if you have arrived here from Jeanne's blog, you seem to be on the right track. As you hop along, please make sure that you comment on each post since there will be six prizes chosen randomly from the participating blogs--3 prize packages will be from Flower Soft and 3 stamp sets from The {Stamps} for Life. The prize winners will be announced on the Flower Soft blog and The {Stamps} of Life blog on Wednesday,July 14. Good Luck to everyone!!

For my card I used Bazzill for the base, all matting is SU, and the DP is Cosmo Cricket. All panels were machine stitched. I stamped the cute Moments in Time-Kite Stamp on Cryogen White and colored it with Copics, adding Sage Ultra Fine Flower Soft to the grassy area. I also used a sentiment placed on triple Nesties from Kites2Fly from The {Stamps} of Life. To replicate the kite theme I used natural hemp twine for the kite string and tiny red and blue bows (made with a fork rather than a Bow-Easy) on the front of my card.

For the inside of my card, I again used the kite theme with a Copic colored kite from the Kites2Fly stamp set and more twine and bows. The jotting spot is again triple Nesties.

If you would like even more inspiration than you will find at the magnificent blogs of this joint DT and/or if you like video tutorials, make sure and check out both The {Stamps} of Life and Flower Soft TV for weekly videos, specials, and product news!

I hope you have enjoyed my little creation and will continue on with the FUN Blog Hop! And now your next stop will be with the magnificently talented and creative Deb Felts.

But before you go, you know that when I participate in any Blog Hop that I always have a bit of SWEET STUFF for my visitors. So this time is no different!! I would like to offer the following Sweet Stuff for some lucky visitor:

Flower Soft Moments in Time - Kite Stamp
The {Stamps} of Life - Kites2Fly Stamp Set
Sage Ultra Fine Flower Soft
Raspberry Fizz Ultra Fine Flower Soft
Flower Soft Glue

Please leave me a comment before July 10 at Noon DST in order to be eligible for my SWEET STUFF!!! Good luck to ALL!!

Thank you so much for dropping by to see what's happening in my little world and I am hoping that you will return often! It is always such a joy to see what you have to say about my creations and I am always so humbled by your visits! Have a marvelous week and until the next time...BIG HUGS!!!!

This would be great for a graduation card for a guy, especially one from grade school. I didn't know Flower Soft was making ultra fine. Since hubby retired, I don't do much shopping so I will have to check when I go to convention in August in Novi. Have a great week, and hope you like the hot weather Like I do.

Dear Jacque,
I'm not entering so much for the candy but it's nice. Just wanted to tell you I think you are one brave and courageous lady. I know it's not easy (I've been dealing w/MS for 37 years)but you are the example I have followed all my life and we don't even know each other. I think we understand The Example He set for us. Best wishes, and Peace.

I adore this Jacque. The first thing I thought of when I saw this was the song Let's Go Fly A Kite from Mary Poppins! I do hope I win! Thanks for the chance.

I love kites. In slovenian language we call it ZMAJ "the dragon". I love the way you extended the kite's tail, what a great idea. You have awesome ideas.

I love your card and i have to thank you so much for the inspiration to decorate the inside of my cards , after seeing how wonderful it looked i decided to give it a go on the guardian angel card i made for my sisters baby who had to under go a five hour operation as you can imagine it had been a very difficult and worrying time for everyone in the family but thanks to your beautiful work and the inspiration i got from your card's i was able to make what i felt was one of my best cards ever filled with angel blessings for them. Just goes to show how your talent helped and i thank you for the inspiration. I hope all is well with you and that your enjoying the best of health after your terrible journey with the cancer. sincere good wishes
