For my card today I used the New Baby designed by Sylvia Zet of Wee Stamps for Whimsy stamps. This sweetie was colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding touches of Prisma Glitter to the clouds. The base and double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from a very old October Afternoon Ducks in a Row paper pad. For the horizontal grosgrain ribbon I used diaper pins as sliders. The SWEET diecut is from the new Sweet As Candy - Large Word Die designed by Simonne Clay for Whimsy Stamps.  A few wee baby bottles and pearls and that's it!! Please let me say that IRL the blues do match but my photography skills are non-existent. Thanks to Suzan for trying to correct my neophyte skills....smiles!!! Do any of you have those same crazy problems???

For my card I inked up the absolutely darling Mary designed by the incomparable Sylvia Zet of Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps. What a delightful throwback to that sweet nursery rhyme from our past!! The image was colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a bit of Prisma Glitter to the lace ruffles. I only used some grosgrain ribbon for the left vertical adding some little sheep buttons I found in my stash and a flat bow.

Mr. Snowman Gift Box

Happy Day to Everyone!!! It is my turn to post over at Wild Orchid Crafts Blog so I would love for you to drop over and become a follower. Each day we have a posting to show you many different ways that we have used the wonderful products from the Wild Orchid Crafts shop. Thank you!!

Today I have made a gift box for a special someone who loves snowmen...and of course will love the gift card I will place inside...lol

The double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the Fancy Pants Saint Nick collection. For the snowman I used three different sizes of styrofoam balls that I cut in half and covered them with Prisma Glitter. The scarf is lengths of DMC floss and the arms are stems from WOC roses. I have used WOC Self-Adhesive Pearls and Rhinestones for the buttons, eyes, and nose. I made the stovepipe hat with chipboard. The fence is from the miniature section and I have added Snow-Tex and Diamond Dust to the fence as well as the ground. The trees are decorated with more rhinestones and chipboard stars. I have used Carnations, Aster Daisies, Gypsophilia, and tiny silk bows for the floral treatment and a Decorative Metal Corner. 

This view will hopefully show the dimension of the snowman and the fence. I added a stripe grosgrain ribbon around the box and a couple of satin bows.

I have also decorated the inside of the box with a chipboard sentiment and a small kraft pocket with another satin ribbon for a gift card.

Happy, Happy Day to everyone!! I hope your week is going very well and that the stress of the holidays is at a minimum! I am pretending that the holidays don't exist!! Haha!!

I have done alot of soul-searching and have decided that I will let you know that this is the last of the prizes until after the holidays...and then after the beginning of the New Year, I will be deciding if I want to continue the weekly opportunities for you all. Surely you all recognize that this has been quite an expensive endeavor for me over the past year and since I also pay all shipping to places all over the world, it is constantly getting much more expensive as shipping costs continue to rise. So we shall see!! If you have suggestions or recommendations, I would love to hear them!!
