You can use this for anything you find at the marvelous CutCardstock shop which includes the wonderful Cryogen White---my very favorite alcohol ink coloring paper!!! The tiny bit of mica in this paper makes our sweet images come alive!!!

This is a collection of flowers from my stash from Magnolia, WOC, and others.... And this is exactly what the winner will receive!!

This is 25+ meters (more than 25 yards) of 25 different colors of organza ribbon from my stash...all of the colors I have...lol

Challenge #13 - Art By Mi Ran and SWEET STUFF!!

Hello, everyone, and a very happy Friday to each of you!! I hope that you have had a great week and are preparing for a wonderful weekend!! I am trying to enjoy each and every moment of this beautiful weather!

Today is the next challenge over at the Art By Mi Ran Challenge -- Challenge #13 where ANYTHING GOES. So come on over and show us your lovely creations!!!

For my easel card I have used the absolutely darling Rosy Cheek Emma...isn't she a sweetie and she can be used for so many occasions and events!!!! Be sure to check out ALL of the Art by Mi Ran images at the Etsy shop!!

The sweet image was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding some Clear Wink of Stella to the rose. The base and double matting is CutCardstock and the DP is from a UK magazine. The doily is a MS diecut which anchors a double flat bow of vintage seam binding and a double heart charm. I have used a Prima resin heart cornerpiece and pearls to soften the corners. The acrylic sentiment is from my stash. For the floral arrangement I have used some MS punched branches, Hip Rosebuds, Sweetheart Blossoms, Cottage Rose, and Mini Gardenias from WOC.

For the base of the easel I used some pink eyelet edged organza ribbon (thanks, Suzan!!) and more of the same flowers which just happened to cascade from the front of the card.

It's Autumn at SRTC!!!

A very Happy Day to everyone!!! I hope that you are enjoying your week!

Today is my turn to post over at the Southern Ridge Trading Company Blog and I have used some darling chipboard pieces....the NEW beautiful Maple Leaves NAT-393 from the SRTC Shop.

The base and all double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the Sugar Hill Paper Pack by Farm House. The sweet image is Autumn's Memoirs from the Art By Mi Ran Etsy Shop. She was colored with Copics and Promarkers. In order to go along with the autumn theme I have used several copper metal embellishments: corners, ribbon slides, clip. The olive green and brown satin ribbon is from my stash.

In order to get the multi-shades of autumn coloration on the leaves I cut a thin coffee stirrer into a little scoop for the EP and first flicked the following shades of Adirondack embossing powder on the leaves: Clay, Butterscotch, Cranberry, Ginger, Espresso, Lettuce. Then I also flicked Super Fine Detail Gold EP before heat embossing. I really like the way the leaves turned out...smiles!!!

SPRING HAPPINESS at Art By Mi Ran Challenge

Happy Friday to everyone!! I hope you have all had a wonderful week and are as ready as I am for a fun-filled weekend! I am going away for a girls' weekend/mini-reunion with about 20 of my sorority sisters from the 70's--many if them I have not seen since college days. So, this should be a real blast!!!

Today is the first time for me to participate in the Art by Mi Ran Challenge as a member of the Challenge Design Team and I would love to invite all of you over to participate along with us! There are so many gorgeous creations and much inspiration!!

I have used the darling little Spring Happiness which you can find in the Art by Mi Ran Shop, along with tons of other cuties!!

This sweet image was colored with Copics and Promarkers. I have used Bazzill for the base and all double matting. The sentiment, stamped in chalk ink, is from the Whimsy Stamps Fluttering By set and is resting on a cut from the lovely Whimsy Stamps Butterfly Frame Die. The satin ribbon, double pearl trim and single pearls are from my stash. The organza lace and all of the flowers and pins are from WOC: heart pins, pearl bead pins, magnolias, apple blossoms, cosmos daisy, chrysanthemums, hip rosebuds.

With this cute, cute image I have made a card and presentation box and I hope you like it....

The card measures 6"X6" and the box is 6 1/4"X 6 1/4". I have used CutCardstock for the base and all matting and the DP is from the Memory Box Enchanted paper pack.

I colored the sweet image with Copics and Promarkers. The rectangular doily under the purple script paper is from Blumchen Co and the scalloped pearl trim  and individual pearls are all from my stash. All of the flowers and the Vintage Seam Binding are from WOC: Tea Roses and Lilies.

The presentation box shows more of these gorgeous papers by cutting out just the head of the sweet image and using a bit of vintage seam binding and more pearls.

For my card today I have used the darling little Picked Sweet Summer Song by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps. Isn't she and her little bird the cutest!!

The base and the triple matting is all Bazzill and the DP is old, old and I think was by Creamotion. The image was colored with Copics and Promarkers. I added a Maya Road birdcage, eyelet lace, polka dotted grosgrain ribbon, a felt birdie, flower pearls to soften the corners, and a lovely pin from my sweet friend Suzan. If you look very closely you can see the word SWEET on the pink crystal heart!!!

The inside is very simple...but I just love those diecuts from the Feather and Nib Die Set from Whimsy!
