Day 7 - WHIMSY STAMPS NEW SEPTEMBER RELEASE...WINNERS...SWEET STUFF!!!!

 

 

Hello and welcome to Day 7 of our September Rubber & Die Release Showcase!

On Wednesday (19 September) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies, Whimsy Designer Paper packs and Shape EZ templates. From then until 25 September the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop!

Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24hrs to enter each prize draw.

For my card I used the absolutely darling NEW MEADOW MAGIC from the Little Cottage Cuties Collection illustrated by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps. The image was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Flexmarkers, adding Prisma Glitter for the halo, dress trim,wings and stars, Stickles for the ground and snowman buttons, and Liquid Pearls for the snowflakes. The card base and all double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the MME Winter Wonderland Collection. I encircled the image with a beautiful Pearl Drop Trim. For the horizontal I used a red grosgrain ribbon topped with an aqua stitched satin ribbon tied into a double flat bow to anchor a couple of Gold Decorative Bells. The sentiment is from the NEW HOLIDAY CAROLS NOTABLES 4 set designed by Ann Vento and was cut out with the Notables 4 Die. I colored the sentiment with Copics, adding a touch of prisma Glitter for the snowflakes and the border. The front was finished with Red Self Adhesive Rhinestones.

For my card today I used the cute, cute, cute new little HOLLY, designed by Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamps. Isn't she just the sweetest little thing!!! She was stamped on X-Press It, colored with Copics and Flexmarkers, adding a bit of Prisma Glitter, Stickles, and Liquid Applique, and cutting her out with SB Squares. The base is Bazzill and the DP is from Simple Stories Handmade Holiday paper pad. For the horizontal I used a frayed burlap trim, topped with grosgrain and jute string tied into knots on each side to dangle a couple of WOC Gold Decorative Bells. The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts: Curly Wild Rose, Cottage Roses, and Holly Leaves. The holly berries are from my stash. To finish the front I used some gold pearls to soften a couple of corners.

This little cutie pie, HOLLY, is looking around trying to find a place to reside! Is it at your house??? All you have to do is leave a comment and she could be flying on her way to your house along with some other Christmas/winter embellies!!!
