Pink/Lace/Pearls at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge and SWEET STUFF!!

Happy Friday, everyone...anda woooohooooo what a wonderful week it has been!!! I hope that yours was great also and that your weekend will be even better!! The garage at the cottage house was finished today so things are looking UP!!!! Now it is ready for shelving to hide all of my stash.....hahahah

This week at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we are being hosted by Mo who has given us the theme of PINK, PEARLS, and LACE and what could be more fun??? There are some very nice prizes available for some lucky participants this week...so please come on over and join in with us!!!

For my card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting, the DP is BG Kissing Booth, and all background panels are machine stitched. The absolutely darling image I used is Tilda With Love Laced Shoes from Magnolia-licious from the Sweet Crazy Love Collection. Although she is sold out at the moment, I'm sure Diana will be getting her back into stock very soon! She was stamped onto X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, adding a touch of Prisma Glitter to her top. For the horizontal I used White Guipure Lace with Vintage Seam Binding tied into a double flat bow. Down the left side I used some pearl trim by Recollections. To the right side I added a white sparkly heart and all flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts: Carnations, Sweetheart Blossoms, and a Wild Rose. The tiny Heart Shaped White Pearl Beads are also from WOC.



On the first panel on the inside I used a White Heart Paper Doily with more seam binding to dangle a heart charm from the Mixed Heart Charm Collection . On the second panel more of the pearl trim and another seam binding bow.

Sneak Peek at Lili's Little Fairies Challenge and SWEET STUFF!!

Happy Thursday, everyone!! I am hoping that you are having a magnificent week! Gosh...I am thinking that my brain is still on LA time and I am having a heck of a time settling back into to NC time!! Or maybe my brain has stopped working in its entirety....lolol!!!!

Today at the Lili's Little Fairies Blog Challenge we have a sweet heart sketch challenge and I designed the sketch...ohhhhhhhhh..one of the most difficult sketches for me to make a card with!!!!Where was my brain???? lolol But there is a magnificent prize from LOTV...so please come on over and join in with us this week!!!!

I made a card and matching gift box for the challenge and I used s SNEAKY PEEKY image from the new colllection at LOTV which I understand will be making its debut on February 20....so save those pennies and set those clocks!!!!



For the set I used Bazzill for the base and single matting, all of the DP is Pion Designs (Thanks so much, Bev) and all panels were machine stitched.....what a chore!!!!! The design of the card is using a Dutch Tri-Fold and I can't remember where I first saw it.....but I am hoping I forgot...lolol. Sewing and chopping 8 panels was enough to drive me NUTZ-er!!!! The sweet image is Party Girl from the upcoming release at LOTV. The image was colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, adding some Prisma Glitter to the balloons and hearts and some peach colored pearl trim to encircle the heart. I used some Sizzix die cuts for the bottom corners with pearls and additional pearls to soften the corners. To finish the front I used a gold cording bow to hold a double heart charm.




On the inside I used a tag from the collection, adding a gold cording bow...and on the wings a couple of Venise lace hearts with a peach pearl medallion. Aren't those papers beautiful????



On the back is just a heart with an organza ribbon bow.




I used the same darling image for the gift box, added some Guipure lace and more peach pearl trim around the box...On the top is a simple bouquet of peach/white organza roses with more pearls.

Happy Saturday everyone!!! I am back from CHA and what an experience it was!!!! It was a real pleasure and joy to meet everyone and to spend such fun time with them, too! Gosh I can't even begin to tell you what all I saw and what all we did. It is just an experience that every crafter should have!!! At least once in a lifetime!! LOLOL I am sure you will see loads of pictures but I am not a picture taker so when I get pictures from my pals, I will share them with you!! I can say that my hinie was dragging by the time I got home late last night and I'm not sure I will ever be the same!! Whew!!!!!!
