SNEAKY PEEKY---LOTV All In A Row

Happy Saturday to each of you and I am wishing for you a marvelous weekend!! My thoughts are certainly with all of the people on the Eastern Seaboard as they prepare for the wrath of Hurricane Irene. I am about 8 hours inland so we will perhaps get a bit of breeze and a little rain...but those on the coast will be suffering for certain!! Be safe all!!!

Oh boy!!! I am finally able to show you a SNEAKY PEEK for the upcoming launch of the second group of LOTV Christmas images! I know that you loved the first launch and these are oh so cute as well! The launch will take place on September 6, and will contain 22 new cuties!! But until then be sure to check on all of the DT SNEAKY PEEKS both on the DT members' personal blogs and especially on the LOTV Ideas to Inspire Blog.

To showcase the darling All In A Row, I made a purse giftbox using a Darcie's template which was a gift from my sweet friend Suzan. Thanks, Sweetie!!! Darcie's website is not open at the moment but I understand it will be soon. The purse body measures about 8 inches (21mm) across the bottom and is about 6 1/2 inches (17mm)tall, excluding the handle. The papers I used are from an old MS Paper Pad. The image was stamped on XPress-It Blending Card and colored with a combination of Copics and ProMarkers...adding a bit of Prisma Glitter for the snow and glitter on the dresses. Aren't those three little munchkins the sweetest little things?!?!! The tag is from the LOTV Circular Christmas Sentiments cut out with Nesties and tied on the bag with wee red satin ribbon and a flat bow. To finish the front of the purse I used red ball fringe and a couple of WOC Mulberry Paper Poinsettias (I removed the centers of the flowers and replaced them with some sparkly brads) and some WOC Holly Leaves!

Happy Friday everyone!!! I hope that you have all had a magnificent week because I can assure you that mine was SPECTACULAR!!! And gosh...it's weekend...so let's all have a wonderful weekend, too!!! I know I intend to!!!

Today starts a new week at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge where we are being hosted by the very talented and sweet Donalda who has invited us to play a fun game of BINGO!! For my card this week I wanted to make it a special one to thank each of YOU!!!! The base and all matting is Bazzill and the beautiful DP is from the EP Victoria Gardens Paper Pad, which was a gift from the sweet Donalda!! Thank you so much, Sweetie!!! All panels are machine stitched. You can tell that I wanted as much of this lovely paper to show as possible! I love it!!! This Magnolia image is a very special one to me and one which I have had for a very long time--not knowing just how special it would become to me!! This is actually 2 stamps: little Tilda and a seperate pink ribbon stamp. She was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics, adding a wee bit of Star Dust Stickles to her wings. For the horizontal I used some gorgeous iridescent lace which was a gift from Suzan--thank you so very much, hon!!! I then added a double bow made with exquisite 32mm Silk Ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts. I made a small bouquet to match the one Tilda is holding using handmade script paper wrapping some 5mm Mulberry Rose Buds. The tiny tag and sentiment are SU. I finished the front with WOC Self Adhesive Pearls.



The inside is very simple but with my fondest of thoughts for each of YOU!!! If you can't read my message just click on the above photo and it will enlarge enough for you to read!

IT'S A CELEBRATION SWEET STUFF!!!!!!

OH, HAPPY DAY!!!!!!! And a Happy Wednesday to each of you and especially to me!!!! I found out late on Tuesday that the nodules in my chest are all benign and that the breast cancer did NOT metastasize into my chest so I have so much to be thankful for!!! These lungs can breathe a little more freely now!!! And I can't express my tremendous appreciation enough to each of you who kept me in your thoughts and prayers!! Thank you all so much for being there!! Even my oncologist and PA were pleasantly SHOCKED to find out the good news!!! And I am turning cartwheels (just in my mind's eye of course...hahahahhahahaha) over the news!!!!! Some of you have suggested a new picture of me and I guess the time is soon, since I will not be losing my hair again any time soon!!!!! WooooHooooooo!!!!!

I am the first to admit that my crafting motivation has been on the thin side over these past couple of weeks...BUT....I am ready to rock and roll NOW!!!! So bear with me and you will start seeing more cards soon!!! But for now....

Let's CELEBRATE with some SWEET STUFF!!!!!! Gosh I am so excited and thankful I can hardly contain myself!!!!
