CHALLENGE, WINNER, and SWEET STUFF!!!!

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope your week is going exceptionally well!!! Except for a little rain(thank heavens no snow and ice) everything here is marvelous!!! I am feeling so wonderfully WELL that I could almost turn a cartwheel if I wasn't afraid of breaking my OLD neck!!!! hahaha!!

Today begins a new challenge over at Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings, where we were asked to use RED/PINK/WHITE and the challenge is sponsored by the marvelous Wild Orchid Crafts, my very favorite place for all things FLOWER!!!! Thank you so much WOC!!! I hope you will all come over and join in with us for a chance to win a magnificent prize!!!!

For my challenge card I used Bazzill for the base, all matting is PTI, and the DP is from the Annalee Collection by Prima--just love the muted, soft colors in this stack. All panels are machine stitched before placing a white paper lace doily on the base. I used that darling little Tilda with Heart Lace from Magnolia-licious, stamped her on X-Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copics adding a touch of Star Dust Stickles for the lace. The horizontal is made with ribbons/trims from the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop: 7/8" Red Organza topped with 3/4" Pink Satin Pleated Trim and adding a double flat bow of 5/8" Pink Sheer Ruffle Edge Ribbon made with the Bow Easy Tool and dangling a silver heart charm. The floral treatment is from Wild Orchid Crafts: 25mm Wild Rose and 20mm Open Roses resting on MS punched out branches. I also added several Pearl Heart Pins to match the string of hearts Tilda is holding and pearl pins from my stash. The front was finished with more pearls from WOC to soften all corners. Little Tilda is looking up at the heart pins as if to ask, "How did I miss those 3 red hearts for my string??? hahahahahah

The inside of my card uses basically the same materials as the front. On the first panel I used the same ribbon treatment and merely added a tiny White Heart Shaped Bead on the bow. On the second panel I used a larger white paper doily, triple Nesties, another bow with bead, and all around the doily I also used heart beads.

I hope you like my little card and will decide to join with us at the RRR Challenge this time!

Tilda with Big Ribbon at Just Magnolia & hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge

A very happy Friday evening to all of you!!! I hope you are as excited for the weekend as I am...and with beautiful/warm weather expected, what could be more exciting!!!

This week at Just Magnolia & hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we are Going Dotty – so we would like to see dots or spots somewhere on your creation please. You can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice. As long as the main image on your creation is a Magnolia or hÄnglar & stÄnglar stamp you will qualify to be in the draw for the fab prizes. And remember NO back linking, new projects/cards only please. The challenge closes next Thursday 20th January. The prize this week is a very nice one being offered by jacobi.nl. Come on over and check out the gorgeous examples of DOTS and SPOTS by the Design Team! We would love to see you!!

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base and the gray matting, the pink matting is PTI, and the DP is from the Be Mine Collection by Echo Park. All background panels are machine stitched. I used the darling little Tilda with Big Ribbon from the You Are So Special Collection at Magnolia-licious. She was stamped on Cryogen White, colored with Copics, adding a touch of Star Dust Stickles to the lace, and cut out with a round Nestie and placed inside a Die-Namics Dainty Lace Doily from My Favorite Things. For the horizontal I used 1.5" Bright Pink Grosgrain topped with a 5/8" White Satin tied into a double flat bow. Underneath the bow is a quote charm by The Girls' Paperie. To soften a couple of the corners I added some Melissa Frances resin embellishments. The floral treatment is made from tulle roses from my stash resting on Heather Stem Flowers and White Stamens from Wild Orchid Crafts.

For the inside of my card I repeated a number of things from the front. However on the first panel I used the Die-Namics Dainty Lace Border with Sheer Ruffle Edge White to dangle a silver heart charm. For the jotting panel I added a Doohickey Swirl to repeat the resin swirl on the front.

I hope you like my little card and will let me know what you think! Thank you very much for dropping by and I hope to see you again real soon! Remember SUNDAY SENSATIONS from Magnolia-licious right here where again you will have a chance at a nice prize!!! Have a wonderful evening wherever you are...and an even better weekend...Sending a big hug your way!!

Times to Treasure at Friday Sketchers #139

Happy Friday Everyone!!! I hope you have had a magnificent week and are looking forward to a marvelous weekend! I know that I can't wait for the weekend to finally arrive AND it is supposed to be in the 50s with no snow or ice in sight!! Yippppeeeee!!

This week at Friday Sketchers #139 we are hosted by Jorunn of Norway who has designed a delightfully fun sketch for us. I hope you will all come over and play along with us where there is a very nice prize provided by our sponsor this week, My Favorite Stamps.

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base, all double matting is PTI, and the DP is from the Spring Fling Paper Stack by Wild Rose Studio. All background panels are machine stitched. The darling little Times to Treasure and accompanying sentiment are by LOTV and were stamped on Cryogen White and the image was colored with Copics. For the horizontal I used the Die-namics Open Scallop Border from My Favorite Stamps. I then topped it with satin ribbon and double flat bow. The floral treatment is made up of Mixed Summer Blooms by Wild Orchid Crafts centered with brads and parts of buttons. I have been so busy this week that I didn't complete the inside of this one so I will save it for a LONG note to someone!!

I hope you like my little card and will decide to join with us at Friday Sketchers this week. Please visit each of the Sassy Sketcher Girls' blogs and let them know what you think of their magnificent creations!!!
