Gosh, we finally made it to Friday so a VERY Happy Friday to you! I hope you week has been a wonderful one and I just know you are all ready for a splendid weekend, no matter where you may be!!
This week at Friday Sketchers #146 we are hosted by the very talented Janneke who has designed a very fun and challenging sketch for us. Let me first tell you that I could NOT get the navy and blue colors on this card to photograph true to life so please just squint...lolol...For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base and for all double matting; the DP is all from the Tea At Elsie's Collection by Kaisercraft. All background panels are machine stitched. I also used a MFT Doozy Doily behind the image. I used the darling little Tilda with Hanging Rabbit from the new Butterfly Dreams Collection which is all up for preorder at Magnolia-licious. Oh my goodness...they are so cute!!! She was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics, adding a touch of Glossy Accents to her boots and Liquid Applique to the bunny's tail!! For the horizontal I used a wide grosgrain and a tiny navy organza bow to dangle the FRIENDS charm which was a gift from my sweet friend Gunilla...thank you so much, sweetie!!! The floral treatment is all by Wild Orchid Crafts: Gardenia Stem Flower, Cherry Blossom Stem Flowers, 10mm Open Roses, and 4mm Closed Rosebuds. I also used WOC Pearls to soften the corners of the image.
The inside is very simple because I wanted the cute patterns of the DP to show alot.
