Happy Friday everyone!!! Gosh, I hope you are having a magnificent week! Mine has been a very busy one and I am still trying to decide what I am supposed to be doing NEXT!!! But, oh my, the weather has been so beautiful that I am thinking plant flowers....but I know better!!! Next week we will probably have ice and snow up to the rooftops...hahahhaha
Today at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we are being hosted by my sweet friend Suzan who has given us the challenge to use a doily---any kind of doily! This is Suzan's first time to host so I hope you will drop by her blog and give her a visit. There are also two wonderful prizes to be won by lucky participants this week so I hope you will come over and join in with us!!!! Gosh, we would love to see your marvelous creations using a doily!!!
For my card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting, the DP is from the BoBunny Ambrosia Paper Pad, and all panels are machine stitiched. The image I used is the precious little Tilda With Daisy from Magnolia-licious and it looks as though she may be out of stock at the moment...but the MINI is in stock! She was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. For the horizontal I used grosgrain ribbons--purple solid and gold dotted which I tied into a double flat bow to dangle a little daisy/aster. The doily is from MFT and all of the floral treatment is from Wild Orchid Crafts: Trellis Rose, Cherry Blossoms, Lilies, and Tulips. I finished the front with Self-Adhesive Pearls.
Gosh I like these papers so much that I only added a small MFT doily and another dotted flat bow.
