Yipeeee!!! It's another Friday and I hope a very happy one for you all!! This has been an interesting week...but nevertheless, we all need one of those from time to time!! lol
Today starts a new and fun theme at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge! Our wonderful hostess this week is Mina who has asked us for GLITTER!!! This week is also the Special Monthly Challenge with a marvelous prize from Simon Says Stamp so come on over and GLITTER along with us!!! We would love to have you join in with us this week!
Rather than a card this week, I decorated a journal made especially for Diana at Magnolia-licious. All of the matting papers are Bazzill and PTI, the DP is from the Tilda Fruit Garden Paper Pad, and the background panel is machine stitched. I used the darling little Tilda With Curls from the Wedding Collection at Magnolia-licious. She is temporarily out of stock but it looks as though she just might return any day! This is one of my favorite stamps to use when I have a tall thin space to work with. For the vertical I used a wide grosgrain ribbon topped with a grosgrain polka dot ribbon. To anchor the vertical I tied a white glitter heart button and a small pink button with WOC Pink Divine Bakers Twine at each end of the ribbons. For the bow I used a satin polka dot ribbon. Tilda was stamped on XPress It Blending Card and colored with Copics, adding a touch of Stickles and Prisma Glitter. For more GLITTER and sparkle I used some Prima Swirls from WOC as well as some Self-Adhesive Rhinestones.
