Today I wanted to show you a little project in celebration of the new STAMPAVIE CREATIONS MAGAZINE which is fresh off the press! I made a card and matching gift bag using one of the newest releases, TEA PLEASE by the incredible Sarah Kay....and isn't she a little sweetie!!!! The sentiment I used is from the DREAM set by Tina Wenke.
For my card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting, the images were stamped on X-Press It Blending Card, the DP is a Maja Design LANTLIV - Life in the Country, and all layers are machine stitched. The sweet image was colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, with a touch of Silver MS glitter pen. For the vertical I used a white diamond satin ribbon tied into a double flat bow to hold a teacup charm. The front is finished with pearl trim down the left and right sides and single pearls.
The inside is very simple because I wanted to display these gorgeous papers. I just added a bit of the ribbon and of course more single pearls and pearl trim...smile..I LOVE pearls!!!
The quick little gift bag started out as a very simple non-woven bag with handles and I just added the same image, paper, pearls, and ribbon...this time with a sweet dimensional teapot charm. I thought this little bag would be ideal for a little gift of teas, honey sticks, and some small accoutrements.
