A very Happy Thursday to everyone!! I hope your week is going very well and that by now anyone who was affected by Irene is in much better stead. My thoughts have been with all of you who suffered during the past weekend!
Today at CLP - Crafting Life's Pieces, a monthly sketch challenge blog, the sponsor for the month is LOTV. I am taking the opportunity to show you yet another of the darling images from the Second Christmas Launch which will take place on September 6. There are 22 new and cute stamps for you to see and NEED with this launch...smiles!!
For my card I used the sweet LITTLE BEARS - SNOWMAN and don't they look like they are having so much fun!!! The image was stamped on Cryogen White and colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a bit of Stickles, Prisma Glitter, and Lily White Flock. The base is Bazzill, the DP is from the new BG Nordic Holiday Paper Pad, and all panels are machine stitched. I used a green MFT diecut for the round element and you can see that I have turned the sketch to meet the size requirements of my image. For the vertical I used some sparkly ricrac with the green organza ribbon, adding a double bow at the top. The little sign is made using an older stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms, coloring it with Promarkers and adding Liquid Applique for the snow. I thought those cute little bears NEEDED some mittens!!! lol To finish the front I used a couple of glittery snowflake ornaments and added some WOC Rhinestones to the centers.
The supplies on the inside are the same as the front with the addition of a pair of MS mittens on the jotting spot.
