Happy Thursday everyone! I hope your week is going exceptionally well and the weekend is quickly approaching! I am so ready to get outside and play some so I am hoping for wonderful weather and a Spring that is hurrying here!!
Today is Challenge 88 over at the magnificent LOTV Challenge Blog which happens each Thursday and I decided to join in with them this week. There is a really fun sketch by the inimitable Bev Rochester this week so I hope you will pop over and join in with us where the prize is a £10 voucher kindly provided by Lili of the Valley!
For my card I used the darling little Bunny Cupcakes from the latest release of the cutest little animals ever!! I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting and all DP is from the Tilda Fruit Garden Paper Pad. The background panels are all machine stitched. The little bunnies were stamped on Cryogen White, colored with Copics, adding Liquid Pearls to the cupcakes and Glossy Accents to the plates and cakestand. For the horizontal I used satin ribbons matching the mattings and tied a simple knot on the left side of the card.The sentiment is from the Dreamy Days Circular Sentiment Sheet and is placed on a rosette made with a TH die. The floral treatment is resting on MS punched branches; the beautiful two-tone pink flower is a Gardenia Stem Flower from Wild Orchid Crafts and I can't tell you where the daisies appeared from...lol...But be sure you see that cute little bunny hiding in the corner which is a button I added for a little whimsy...kinda cute I think!!!! Bet he is gonna sneak over for a cupcake, too!!!
The inside of the card is VERY simple because I wanted the floral pattern to be emphasized. On the first panel is a simple flat bow dangling a little silver teapot charm and on the jotting panel is another bow with a cupcake button.
