Happy day, everyone! I hope your week is going great! And it seems that as we get closer to the weekend that things go even better! I am going away this weekend with my Auntie for her birthday so that should be a fun time!
This week at Lili's Little Fairies Challenge it's ANYTHING GOES so that's an easy challenge!!! I decided to make a sweet birthday card for my Auntie who is one of my very best fans. I hope you will come over and join in with us this time so that you will be in for this magnificent prize from Wild Orchid Crafts!! Isn't it marvelous!!!!
For my card I used Bazzill for the base, PTI for all double matting, the DP is from the MME - Miss Caroline - Dolled Up from Susana's, and all panels are machine stitched. The image I used is actually a little SNEAKY PEEKY of the darling little LOTV BASKET OF ROSES from the collection that will be available at LOTV on February 20---less than a week away!!!! She was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, adding a bit of Prisma Glitter to the butterflies. For the horizonal I used some WOC White Guipure Lace and PTI grosgrain ribbon tied into a flat bow with a Melody Ross brad. I also used part of a Pearl Swirl. The sentiment is from LOTV Set 20 - For Her Sentiments cut out with Nesties. To soften all of the corners I added some Self-Adhesive Pearls from WOC.
For the first panel on the inside I just used more grosgrain ribbon tied into a flat bow to dangle a butterfly charm from silver cording. And on the jotting panel, some more of the Pearl Swirl.
