Whimsy Stamps January Release....and SWEET STUFF!!!

Hello and welcome to Day 2 of Whimsy Stamps January Rubber & Die Release Showcase! On Wednesday (23 January) Whimsy Stamps released this month's new rubber designs, Shapeology dies, Whimsy Designer Paper packs, Shape EZ templates and *new* Whimsy Prints pre-coloured toppers. From then until 29 January the Whimsy Stamps DT and Special Guests are showcasing these fabulous new goodies with a daily mini blog hop and I am part of today’s hop!

Each mini blog hop has a new release prize hidden somewhere along the way and you have 24 hrs to enter each prize draw. For my card I used the darling little Polly Picnic by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps. She was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a touch of Stardust Stickles. The base and all double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the Dovecraft Tea Party paper pack. For the horizontal I used pink satin ribbon tied into a double flat bow and on each side of the ribbon I used Lace Tape. The flowers are Cottage Roses and Hip Rose Buds from Wild Orchid Crafts. The little cupcake diecut was designed by Jolanda Bergmans of Noor! Design and I added a pink pompon to the top. Finally I added some pearls to the upper corners.

 

Here is a view of the easel card opened...and sorry for the quality of my pictures...I am no photographer...lol

 

For the base of my card I have used a sentiment from the NEW Everyday Sliders 1 cut out with the NEW Slider 1 Die tied with more satin ribbon. The sentiment was propped up with dimensional tape to serve as a stop for the front panel. To finish the base I added more pearl trim and a couple of single pearls.

Thinking Springtime!!!! And SWEET STUFF!!!!

 

A very happy Monday to YOU!! I hope you have had a magnificent weekend wherever you may be. I have heard that many of you are under bunches of snow and I am keeping my fingers crossed for sure! I am ready for Springtime and daffodils and flowers and green!!!

 

Today is my day to post over at Wild Orchid Crafts and I had Springtime and all its wonders on my mind for sure!!! It had been so very long since I had used a Bildmalarna image that this little girlie just made me smile! She is Mimosa - Guitar from the latest collection and that smile is priceless! She was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding some yellow Pearl Pen for her buttons. The base and all double matting is Bazzill, and the floral DP is from The Scrap Cake My Private Happiness Collection (and I have NO idea where it came from) and the sheet music DP is from the BoBunny Love Letter Collection. For the horizontal I used 1" Organza Ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts. Other WOC products I used are the lovely little Daffodils (which I had never used but fell in love with) and the 1/4" Satin Ribbon to tie around the sheet music. Although Mimosa is holding a guitar (???) I used a fiddle charm to dangle from the ribbon as well as some pearl trim on two corners. On the opposite corners I used some beautiful corners from Noor! Design to cut out and emboss the diecuts. The number of this one is ART.NR. 6002/0136 and the WONDERFUL news is that all of Jolanda Bergman's lovely products for Joy! Crafts are going to be made available to wholesalers through Notions Marketing....even in the US!!!!! So tell all of your local scrapbooking stores, your favorite web shops, and your crafting shops to check them out!!! You can tell them to go to the brand Joy! Crafts and they will be able to find Jolanda's products right away!!

 

 

For the inside of my card I used the same DP and a companion fleur de lys diecut to anchor another organza bow. The number for this die is ART.NR. 6002/0134. And both of these dies are available now in the US at The Frantic Stamper. How exciting is that???? If you know of other shops in the US where these beauties can be found, please let me know in a comment!!! Thanks!!

Valentine Up, Up, and Away...

 

A very happy day to everyone!!! I hope you have completed a marvelous week and are ready for a weekend of fun and lots of crafting!! I am such a happy camper this weekend. It was predicted on Thursday evening that we would have 4-10 inches of snow BUT the wonderful thing is that it completely missed us this time!!! Yipppppeeeeeee!! But we have had 4 days of torrential rain this week and it is flooded everywhere around me.

 

Just for fun I made this little Valentine gift canister using a sweet little image from the new Love Collection which is now available over at Magnolia-licious. This is little Tilda is called Up, Up, and Away and she was stamped on X-Press It and colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a touch of Stardust Stickles. To decorate the box I used laces, pearls, organza ribbon bows, and roses and hip rosebuds from Wild Orchid Crafts.

 

 

 

This is a view of the top of the canister and it's all ready to be filled with some Valentine surprises!!!
