Gardening Time at Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge

Happy Saturday everyone! Gosh what a wonderful week and I know the weekend is going to be just as marvelous...We are having rain BUT I know that gets all of the green and flowers ready to peek out...Gosh, it has been so pleasant here this week that all of the roses have new green leaves showing AND the little daffies are dancing around with all of the bright yellow!!! Is it really SPRING yet??? Methinks NOT!!! sighhhhhh

This week over at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge we have something a little bit different for you - the challenge is BINGO, so eyes down girls and get playing! Choose 3 items that are in a straight line - horizontal, vertical or diagonal from the picture to the left and you can also add die cuts/punches. You can combine our challenge with any other challenges of your choice and as long as the main image on your creation is a hÄnglar & stÄnglar or Magnolia stamp you will qualify to be in the draw for one of the TWO fabulous prizes from 7 Kids College Fund and The Ribbon Girl. And remember NO back linking, new projects/cards only please. The challenge closes next Thursday, 31st March.

For my DT Sample Card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting. The DP is from the very pretty Minuet Paper Pack by Memory Box and all background panels are machine stitched. Now for the diagonal GEMS--FLOWERS--RIBBONS & LACE (and some more stuff..lol) The image is resting on a Marianne Designs Doily which you can see peeking out on the upper left. The image is a darling little hÄnglar & stÄnglar watering can cutie which was stamped onto Cryogen White, colored with Copics, and sporting a paper-pieced top and hat ribbon. For the horizontal I used a natural cotton lace topped with an Ivory Diamond Satin Ribbon tied into a double bow using the Bow-Easy Tool and dangling some enamel/silver gardening tools. The floral treatment is resting on MS punched rose leaves and is from Wild Orchid Crafts: 25mm Open Roses and Aster Daisies. Finally I added a few pearls to soften the corners and an organza butterfly with another added pearl.

The inside is very simple so the butterfly paper could be seen...for the jotting panel I lightly stamped a mini of the same hÄnglar & stÄnglar image from the front...kinda a cute little thing, huh?!?

I hope you like my little creation and will decide to join in with us at the Just Magnolia and hÄnglar & stÄnglar Challenge this week. Please pop over and see the magnificent DT cards this week right HERE!

Thank you all for dropping by today and I hope you will come by often! Remember that on Sunday we will have SUNDAY SENSATIONS from Magnolia-licious which has a marvelous surprise for some lucky person!!! AND if you have not seen yesterday's SWEET STUFF you can either scroll down to the posting below or click on the picture on the right side bar!! Have a marvelous weekend and, until the next time, I send big hugs to each of you!!!!!
