A Victorian Christmas
Happy Friday, everyone!!! I hope you have all had a marvelous week and are prepared for a splendid weekend. The bathroom is progressing so I am in a happy frame of mind! It will be quite a while before I undertake another renovation---this is for the record!!!
My card today is a little bit unusual for me. I used an image from the Lunagirl Victorian Christmas CD which I have had for a long time. I printed it on photo paper so that it would look more like an old postcard. The base and all double matting is Bazzill and the DP is from the Bo Bunny Rejoice paper pad. I love those traditional Christmas colors! For the horizontal I used 1" Organza Ribbon with a grouping of Miniature Gold Bells tied with Gold Metallic Cord. The floral arrangements are resting on Mulberry Holly Leaves. I have used 1 1/2" Tea Rose, 1" Wild Roses, Closed Rosebuds, and White Stamens. The upper flowers are resting on an almost hidden gold snowflake which I covered with more German Glass Glitter and to soften the corners I have used some gold pearls.
Thank you so much for dropping by today and I hope to see you again real soon. Until the next time, I send BIG HUGS!!!
What a beautiful card

Nu har jeg set julekort i alle mulige farver, de er da pæne og fornyende, men dette er hvad jeg forstår ved et rigtig julekort, der behøver ikke stå "god jul" for det oser af jul. knus morkaren.

Hi Jacque~
ReplyDeleteThis card is splendid! I love how you put it all together. I never know how to put a "photo" into a card. You did it beautifully. And, your fingers must be so nimble to tie all of these tiny knots! Still miss your coloring more, though!
