YeeeeeHawwwww at Lili's Little Fairies Challenge and SWEET STUFF!!!



Happy Thursday everyone!!! I hope your week is going very well and that you have experienced many smiles already this week!! It has been in the 80s F (almost 30C) here this week but I am not going to complain--I much prefer this weather to the snow and ice!!!!!

This week at Lili's Little Fairies Challenge Blog we have a FUN ANYTHING GOES week so we hope you will join in with us and have as much fun as we did. We would LOVE to see your wonderful creations using a LOTV image! So hop on over and know that there will be a marvelous surprise for some lucky participant!!

The card that I made uses Bazzill for the base and the inside matting...the front matting and all of the DP is from a kit by Cosmo Cricket. I wanted the card to be quite masculine and therefore all of the embellishments are from the same 9,000 piece kit which is quite old. The front of the card is a double pocket card but made with layers rather than with folding a single sheet. The cute cowboy image I have used is from the upcoming release at LOTV which is scheduled to be out on May 9th...isn't he a little darlin'??? I just love that little puppy with the headdress!!! You can see many of the SNEAK PEEKS right HERE The image was colored with Copics and Promarkers, adding a touch of MS gold glitter for the stars. I added a couple of chipboard corners, a chipboard "HI", and some chipboard buttons tied with twine for both of the tag buttons.


For the first panel on the inside I made another pocket to hold a gift card...and for the jotting panel I used a MF envelope with tag for a sweet message!

    It is is such a gorgeous card and quite masculine.. I for some reason cannot make masculine cards.. I get lost on as to how to embellish it.. Super card Jacque.. :)

    Such a little cutie here, and how awesome it is, to finally get soo many choises for boys too. I have 7 granddaughters and ONE little boy, and it´s never a problem to find anything for the girls, but the boy has always been so hard, as he ofcause also wants all these fancy cards like the girls, so it´s such a pleasure to see all these awesome stamps for boys here now. Thanks sooo much for another awesome idea Jacque, you always share such great ones and know how to make things look their best.

    What a great 'yeeeehawwww' pocket card, just great for a guy. I've been wanting these sentiment stamps for ages, but have just spent a small fortune at LOTV on images, and now need to save my pennies before I place another order. I would soooo love to win them. I see them everywhere and love their designs.

    What a great card, Jacque! I love that little guy and his side kick! I never knew that the MS gold sparkle pen gave out so much "Sparkle." That is wonderful!When you put the chipboard "HI"...did you cover it with glue and put the paper on it, and cut around it with exacto knife? Or was it already covered? Or did you color and glaze it? I have TONS of chipboard that is plain brown, and don't know how to change it to match the card. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer! :)
