It's All About Boys at Lili's Little Fairies Challenge!!
Happy day everyone!!! I hope that you are all having a marvelous week--mine has been running hither, thither and yon and as Murphy"s Law takes over I have been feeling under the weather for a couple of days....just thought it was a little cold BUT since I couldn't even breathe enough to get through an hour of Tai Chi, I thought I better take a trip to the best doctor in the world...Anyway, as you all know I am heading out to Anaheim, CA for CHA on Sunday so I need to be WELL and spry! I have bronchitis and pneumonia but I am gonna be well by in the morning, no matter what!!!! Would you please cross your fingers for me??? LOL
This week at the Lili's Little Fairies Challenge the theme is Oh Boy - Masculine Creations and there is a very nice prize from Nitwits Collections. Please come on over and join in with us! We would love to see your masculine creations. And oh my, these boys cards are really difficult for me!!!
For my card I used Bazzill for the base and all double matting, the DP is from the Toy Box Collection by Crate Paper, and all panels are machine stitched. The image is the Little Lorry Bear who is having so much fun in his homemade truck!! He was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card and colored with Copics, Promarkers, and Flexmarkers. He had two left over pencils that he didn't use for the wheels--those pencils are just dollhouse miniatures and are so cute!! haha For the horizontal I used a triple of regular kitchen twine to tie on a little chipboard clock. To finish the front I added a truck button at the bottom left.
I hope you like my little creation and will decide to join in with us this week at Lili's Little Fairies Challenge.
Thank you so much for dropping by and please visit often!! Have a wonderful day....and this old girl is going to have her a big gulp of that super-duper cough medicine and jump under the covers!!!! Hugs (with Lysol spray) to all!!!
This is fabulous. I love that teddy bear image.

Hi Jacque~
ReplyDeletePraying that in the morning...or even before, that the Mighty Healer will speak your name, and you will be completely healed. That you will have enough energy to jump out of bed, do a little dance as you get dressed...and be on your way to CHA! I am thanking the Lord now, because I have faith that it will happen. Just remember to do your part...drink extra water, get to bed early, don't worry about doing one more post...and do whatever the doctor told you to do.
This card is adorable! It reminds me of my son when he was young. He would build all sorts of things out of boxes. And, just today, I received my MIL's (May she rest in peace with the Lord Jesus.) sewing machine by UPS. I am so excited. My mom will show me how to use it. I plan on only using it for cards, so that I don't get trapped into hemming slacks, or putting a button on! LOL I am so excited.
Praying you have a fabulous, full of energy time at CHA! PLEASE, take care of yourself FIRST!
We love you!

Hi Perfect image super colouring with these the perfect match papers ;0)
ReplyDeleteHi Jacque,
ReplyDeleteI am in total agreeance with you about boy's cards i am exactly the same, i personally try to avoid them at all costs, lol, but i will try and enter as i did last week too! Love all the DT's creations they really are special considering they are masculine cards, nothing is amiss, well, maybe flowers, lol, but the talent is still there!!!
