HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

A very happy and enjoyable Thanksgiving to everyone who is celebrating this day of remembering all of the things we should be thankful for! And to each of you, whether this is your holiday or not, I want to express my sincere thanks to you for all of the many joys you continue to bring into my life. Over the past year or so, you have always been there to cheer me on!!! Gosh, when things seemed to be going haywire in my life, I could always connect with you and you always made things much better--even in the darkest of hours! So yes!!! I have many things to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day!! And YOU are certainly one of those things!

This is the first year in all of my 64 years that I will be without a Mom and a Dad during this holiday season but I can be thankful for those years that I had with them. I can also be thankful for a loving (and protective) Auntie who means the world to me! And I can be thankful for friends, both near and far, who bring so much joy! So rather than the traditional turkey today, I will spend time TRYING to make ready the crafting cottage.

Enjoy each moment of this day with your loved ones...and I will see you back here very soon! Big hugs!!

    In Slovenia we don't have Thanksgiving day, but I'm thankful for all good things in my life anyway. There is a lot of them and I'm so happy for that.

    we don't selebrate this day
    but i'm thankfull of every day i can spent with my mum and hubby, and friends
    most of all i'm thankfull that my hubby survived last sunday, and still with me
    i hope he will survive to his birthday and all the happy day's that will come

    The first time we go through any special day after losing someone is always so difficult but hopefully you can enjoy the day for what it is and soon create very many more lovely memories in the years to come. {Hugs} You have certainly come through so much lately!

    Happy Thanksgiving, Jacque! I'm 39 and my parents are a few months shy of their 74th birthdays. The chance that I will have them in my life for another 25 years is unlikely, so I cherish every moment I have with them now.     I'm in England, so your Thanksgiving is just another day, but we have many American friends, and some family, so our family celebrates...who doesn't have a need to be thankful for something, eh?

    Happy Thanksgiving Jacque...I am thankful everyday, that I can get out of bed, work hard, and have my grandsons with me everyday..for wonderful elderly clients who make me laugh and cry with them, for my wonderful blogging LIFE and the circle of friends I have made all over the world.
    We may not have our parents with us anymore, but I am thankful for the beautiful memories I have of them...

    You are probably the best person for finding the silver lining in storm clouds. I hope you enjoy your day in your craft cottage...and can look back at the past Thanksgivings with a smile on your face, and a familiar happy tug on your heart.

    Jacque, thank you for the joy for which I am thankful for. The happiness you have brought to my life through your beautiful personality and blog.

    At least you be packing paper as opposed to all of the calories we will be having! Over 13 different desserts (pies, cakes, pastry, icecream cake...)alone...and there are 13 of us!
